Townhome, 3 Bedrooms, 3 Baths, (Sleeps 8)

Kick back and relax at the 'Edge of America', Folly Beach, South Carolina. Our Townhome is located in one of the most desirable locations on Folly Beach. Waters Edge is a small community on the Folly River tucked away in a quiet cul-de-sac, yet a close walk to the beach or the restaurants and shops of downtown Folly Beach. Waters Edge has a community pool and dock for your enjoyment. Or hop in your car and be in beautiful, historic downtown Charleston in 15/20 minutes.
Our charming 3 BR/3 BA townhome is 1700 square feet. The home is tastefully furnished with hardwood floors throughout and features a private 2 car garage. The kitchen is open with all new appliances and has granite countertops. It is fully equipped with everything you will need to cook a full meal. The dining table seats 6 plus there are three bar stools at the granite island in the kitchen. The living room is furnished with a large sectional sofa. The living room on the main level features a 47 inch widescreen TV with ROKU, DVD, wireless internet and sound system. Just off the living room is a screened porch with plush wicker furniture for relaxing and enjoying the views of the river.
The three bedrooms are all beautifully furnished with new linens and each bedroom has its own bathroom. The master bedroom features a king sized four poster bed . The master bathroom has a Jacuzzi tub, standup shower and double sinks. There is also a 12 foot walk-in closet. Open the sliding doors off the master bedroom and walk onto a beautiful sun porch furnished with a comfortable lounge chair for a gorgeous view of the river and the marsh. This is the perfect place for quiet afternoons reading in the sun. The 2nd Bedroom features a queen bed, a twin bed and private bath. The third bedroom on the main level has a queen bed and full bath. We have two inflatable mattresses, ideal for the kids. There is also a pack n play. All bed rooms have TVs, ROKU and DVDs.
Folly Beach is a unique, small, eclectic beach town that features six miles of beautiful sandy beaches, excellent local restaurants, beach bars, and shops. The wonderful Folly Pier is 24 feet wide and extends more than 1,045 feet into the Atlantic Ocean. Go to the beach, enjoy the pier, relax at the pool, take a bike ride, hike out to Lighthouse Point, fish and crab off the dock or just enjoy fabulous sunset views from the dock under the covered gazebo from the bench swing.
This home is perfect for families or groups of vacationers. The home is equipped with several amenities available to all guests including: pack n play, high chair, board games, books, Bocce Ball, beach chairs, beach umbrella, beach toys, beach cruiser bikes, Ocean Kayaks (2), and more.

What a great place to stay on Folly!

Everything is beautiful - from the granite countertops to the furnished screened porches. And what a VIEW! We went down to the dock and crabbed, swam in the pool (just steps away) and walked to Center St for restaurants and shopping. Great for familes or for a couple's getaway!

This is a spacious townhouse overlooking the water that's a nice walk or short bike ride to the beach. The kitchen is well stocked and there are plenty of amenities ( bikes, beach chairs, gas grill, and kayaks). Beds are comfortable and the owner is responsive.

Great place to stay while in Folly Beach.

This was a great place to stay while in Folly Beach. The location was a big plus, only 10 min. walk to the beach and a 7 min. walk into town. The place is loaded with everything you need plus more. We did not rent the Golf Cart, but it's a great option to have. The bikes were a plus too. My wife and I were the only ones in the townhome so we had more than enough room, towels, etc. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely return.

Great getaway!!

Our family had a wonderful stay at Water's Edge. The townhouse was nicely decorated and very comfortable for everyone. The beach was a few blocks away, but the golf cart made it even easier to get there. We would definitly recommend staying here. The location is quiet, but close to everything you want. We enjoyed the short walk to the Lost Dog Cafe. We highly recommend this restaurant if you want something close and good. We hope to return in the future!!

Perfect property

We spent long weekend here. In town for family wedding. What a beautiful place! Nicely decorated bedrooms, bedrooms nicely spaced out. Plenty of space to spread out, hang out. Nice views of the river. Nice porches upstairs and main floor. I only wish we had more time to explore. Nice job!

Great get away!!

We stayed here for an anniversary weekend. It is a great placve to relax and unwind. The views are beautiful from the master balcony. Great townhome with enough room to bring the kids next time. Kitchen well stocked with everything we needed. We love Folly Beach. Lots of great restaurants are within walking distance (Lost Dog Cafe and Woody's are our favorites). The owner was great at communicating (I had several questions as this was our first VRBO experience). We would definitely stay here again!

This was an amazing unit!

Our family has been vacationing in various areas and facilities on the Atlanta coast for over 45 years. This unit is by far the best equipped place we have ever had the privilege of staying. The owners have thought of everything to make this unit a home away from home. During our stay we had a small glitch with the golf cart charger (just normal wear and tear on equipment). The owner was easily reached and rectified the situation immediately. Could not have asked for a better rental. Thank you for a great stay - We will definitely be back!!!!

Fabulous vacation spot - highly recommened

My wife and I spent a week in this lovely town home on Folly’s Beach. We have stayed at several rentals over the years, but were really very impressed with the way this property was kept. The place was very, very clean and we were impressed with the kitchen and all it had to offer. The granite surface added a very nice touch, too. We felt very welcomed here in this family-oriented and quiet environment for the week. The only small issue I wanted to mention is the steep stairs, but after a day or so it becomes a non-issue. The owner of the property communicates well and quickly. He also provided excellent documentation and information regarding the property. We look forward to staying here again in the near future.

Terrific place to stay!

Perfect distance from the pool, the pier, and the beach. Be sure to rent the optional golf cart; it is cheaper than local rental places. It is very well-furnished with kitchen supplies & small appliances, board games and DVDs and books, air mattresses, and other amenities. While staying there, we left a voicemail for the homeowner with a question; he answered promptly and was helpful. Very spacious master bedroom and closet. The description states that it sleeps 8; just know that there are 3 beds and the sofa (although it is big and comfortable and a sectional) is not a sleeper sofa. The grill worked well, and we used the kayaks and bicycles too. We appreciated having an ironing board and iron available. The lot to park additional vehicles was very close by. The main floor patio has a wonderful view of the water and the bridge; it is screened in which made it nice to sit out there any time of the day or evening. We loved the place and highly recommend it for your stay.

I love our place because we are a family of 8 and I know when we come to stay here I have everything I need from a Keriug to a traditional coffee maker, plenty of personal space for everyone, books, puzzles, games, comfy furnishings and the perfect spot to watch the dolphins playing in the water!
