In the village of Axams, you’ll find several restaurants offering regional specialties, along with a supermarket, pharmacy, and gas station. Innsbruck is easily reachable by public bus in about 30 minutes.

For outdoor enthusiasts, the area offers plenty of activities. An indoor swimming pool with a heated outdoor pool is just 1.5 kilometers away on foot, and the surrounding forests and meadows are perfect for walking. Wir (4 Erwachsene mit 2 jugendlichen Kindern) haben schon viele Ferienhäuser (daher Vergleichsmöglichkeiten) gebucht,aber noch nie war ein Haus so vollständig und mit Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet, In der Küche war das gesamte Inventar nicht wie sonst genau der Personenzahl angepasst, Besser kann auch der eigene Haushalt nicht ausgestattet sein, Alles war sehr sauber und gemütlich, Die sehr freundlichen Vermieter waren auch bei besonderen Anfragen/Wünschen sofort zur Stelle, Die Nähe zum Skibus/Skigebiet und zum Supermarkt war auch sehr angenehm, Wir haben uns sehr wohl und fast wie zu Hause gefühlt! Wenn wir die Axamer Lizum wieder mit unserer Gruppe besuchen sollten

Ein schönes Haus mit geräumiger Küche und zwei Wohnzimmern - ideal für große Gru ...

Ein schönes Haus mit geräumiger Küche und zwei Wohnzimmern - ideal für große Gruppen. Die Ausstattung ist gut und die Vermieterin sehr nett und jederzeit hilfsbereit. Der Kraftraum im Keller lädt zum auspowern ein. Die Lage des Hauses ist ruhig und trotzdem ist man schnell im Ort und hat Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in Laufweite. Durch die Welcome-Card kann man kostenlos in ca. 30 min mit dem Bus in Innsbruck sein und die Busse fahren sehr regelmäßig. Lediglich die zwei Toiletten, eine davon im Bad, sind für eine größere Gruppe etwas wenig. Ein Zimmer ist für 2 Kleinkinder geeignet, weniger für Erwachsene.

Een prima woning voor ons (6 volwassenen), dicht bij Innsbruck en de bergen

Het huis is prima. Echt wel Oostenrijkse stijl. Alles was schoon, de bedden prima. De tuin met ligstoelen was prima om even te rusten. De ligging is goed, de bergen zijn prachtig met liften te bereiken en mooie wandelingen zijn er zeker mogelijk.

Axams in the beautiful Austrian Alpes

We were met by our delightful host Nayla, who spoke excellent English. She had warned us that the shops shut in Axams at 6pm on Saturday and would be shut on Sunday, so she very kindly organised to buy us the basics for breakfast and lunch the next day, which was fantastic. The house is lovely, with so many rooms, it sleeps 12, plus has a basement with drying room and games room, a good well stocked kitchen, 3 shower/bathrooms with plenty of bedding and towels, plus a lovely garden with outdoor gazebo plus a barbecue. Axams is really well located for exploring the area and with the visitor card you can get the bus for free into Innsbruck, which we did on two occasions or take the bus to Axamer Lizum and then take a cable car up to the top of the Alpes for spectacular scenery and great walking in the summer. There is also a good sports centre with indoor and outdoor swimming pools, three small super markets, two bakeries and other gift shops and restaurants. We had a great holiday!
