Great downstairs area to keep the teens away from us oldies, but the living room/dining/kitchen area was spacious enough to include them in our scary movie nights and other family fun. Kitchen was stocked with essentials and the beach was just steps away. Lovely vacation overall.

This house was just perfect for what we planned. The layout was great because my wife and I could sleep downstairs while our two young grandchildren stayed upstairs with their parents. The location was even closer to the beach than I expected. The weather was lousy but that was also ok.

Great Location for this charming home

This house is on one of the best lanes. Right across the street from the beach. The house is bright and airy. All rooms have air controlled units and the beds are very comfortable. The linens arefresh and very clean. Lisa and Morgan are responsive and welcoming. This is a great place to stay for families.

A Great Beach Location

What an outstanding location. You literally can be dipping you toes in the sand in less than minute, and in another minute the waves are lapping at your feet. The beach is beautiful and is great for long walks. The home was spotless, and every essential was provided. Beds were very comfortable as was the seating around the fireplace and TV. The communication by the host was exceptional, providing directions, a guide to Ventura, Restaurants, and the other sites in the surrounding area. We had such a wonderful time. we will have to return.

Amazing Location!

Our stay in Ventura was amazing. This property is an ideal location. Steps to the beach, so much openess in the front of the property due to the fact the school is there. (sounds of children playing outside during the weekdays). House was clean and stylishly decorated. Communication with the host was great. Few essentials missing from the kitchen, and when requested they showed up quickly with those items and more. Within walking distance to some restaurants, walked down to the pub to watch football one afternoon. Long walks on the beach. Our dogs were welcomed and were very comfortable there. Would stay again! :)

Wonderful beach house!

The house is great and super close to the beach - the wagon in the garage is fantastic for taking things down to the beach! My partner doesn't have to be the pack horse! :) Lisa is great and responds quickly to any questions or issues. I will say that a spa is noted in the listing (and in the brochure Lisa sends), but there is no spa. Also the code for the garage didn't work during our stay, but there is a remote, so we had no issues getting in. House is gorgeous and has everything you need. We will be back!!

Wonderful stay, zero complaints!

This was a wonderful property in a fantastic location. It was beautifully clean and all 5 of us were very comfortable there. I reached out to Lisa a couple of times with questions while we were there and she was super responsive and helpful. The furniture and beds were all very comfortable. I didn't realize there were 2 living rooms (1 upstairs and 1 on the ground floor) which was great with teenagers and really let us spread out. I can't speak to the kitchen supplies since all we did was eat out, but it's nice and big for anyone that likes to cook. The house is also just steps from the beach with lots of comfortable beach chairs in the garage to use. The only heads up I'd give other guests isn't about the house but rather that as with most coastal towns, the area doesn't have great tap water so we found ourselves buying a lot of water to keep in the fridge.
