This cottage was cleaned as well as you can possibly clean an antique home. Noting that the twin bedroom is open to the stairs so does not have a door in case that matters to anyone. The lake was a short walk and the water is very clear. The little association beach and association deck looked wonderful for warmer weather visits. We were just in town briefly for a wedding so did not make use of bikes or kayaks. Had fun star gazing at night. Good communication with host and coded access was easy.

It was great that we were able to bring my pup. We thought the lake was closer then it wss. You can't see it from the house. However it is a short walk down the street.

The fire pit was perfect. The location is peaceful and quiet. Restaurants and stores are a short car ride. Plenty of space upstairs where there are three more beds. The host provides lots of information about the surrounding area. Thank you!

A lovely little getaway

I had such a great time staying at this cute little lake house for a week. The space was nice and cozy, the amenities were perfect, and I didn't want for a single thing while I was there. Can't wait to come back!

The Host was very responsive. The home, however, was not as cozy as we had expected given the pictures online. There was also a strong unpleasant smell throughout the house that required us to purchase air spray and open the windows for ventilation.
