Accommodating 6 guests, this property is within walking distance of the iconic Niagara Falls and conveniently located close to many major attractions and restaurants. The master bedroom features a large queen sized bed. The intermediate sized bedroom offers a large queen sized bed and the smallest bedroom provides a comfortable double sized bed, There is also a sofa bed located on the main level. Two full bathrooms situated on the main and second floors.
The Copper Penny House is a charming vacation rental dating back to 1893. This home is perfect for today’s family travelers, offering a quiet and private atmosphere surrounded by large shade trees and a lovely view of a peaceful city park sanctuary.
Just 200 feet from the house, a newly paved walking trail leads directly to the Falls area. Relax on the wicker furniture on our front verandah and enjoy the beautifully landscaped yard—it truly feels like a “home away from home.”
If your plans involve day outings to Local Wineries, The Butterfly Conservatory, The Niagara Parks Botanical Gardens, Golf Courses, or Old Towne Niagara-on-the-Lake, there is only a short walk to the WEGO transit bus that will conveniently take you to all locations. There is always something entertaining to do here!
Guests have full access to the house and yard, including the basement laundry room. This is a private rental, whereby the owner does not reside on the property.

Location Information: Most guests find our property walk-able to The Falls,. The Falls area is expansive, including the entertainment center at Clifton Hill, The American & Horseshoe Falls. It takes approximately 15 minutes to walk to Clifton Hill, which offers numerous shops, dining, and major attractions and a little further to reach The Falls, Overall, our guests appreciate the balance of being close to The Falls while enjoying a quieter, more peaceful environment away from the crowds.
Check-In/Out Policy: For early check-in requests, please message us. We will do our best to accommodate you, but we typically won't know about availability until one or two days prior to your arrival.
Our standard check-out time is 11 AM, and extensions are unlikely due to incoming guests and our cleaning schedule.
Property Maintenance: During your stay, our lawn maintenance team may be working on the property. We also handle garbage and recycling collection every other Friday.
TV Services: We do not have cable TV, but we do provide a TV with streaming services like YouTube and Netflix. If you plan to watch live sports events, please research how to stream them on our TV prior to your arrival, as you may need to purchase subscriptions or use a VPN for events not broadcast in Canada.
Coffee & Tea.: We have a drip-style coffee maker, and provide complimentary coffee, tea, sugar, powdered creamer, and coffee filters for your convenience. Paper towels & napkins are also supplied.
One simple outdoor security camera overlooking the driveway offers peace of mind during your stay.

Fully equipped home, coffee and tea was a nice touch just remember to bring your own milk/creamer! There is also a BBQ in the yard but we didn't have the opportunity to use maybe next time. Thanks for a lovely stay!
Clean, comfortable beds, very efficient and well appointed kitchen. Excellent for our family of 5 adults to chill , watch TV and even enjoy the back yard patio during the afternoon sunshine weather, quite a gift in early April. The restaurants and wineries we went to were 1st class. Highly recommend Two sisters winery and restaurant.
Lovely Victorian home with beautiful architectural details and modern amenities. Very clean and comfortable beds. Conveniently located near all the attractions and bus line. Enjoyed relaxing on the front porch and back deck. The decorations of pumpkins and mums were a nice touch!
We felt like the Copper Penny house was a great place for our family visit to Niagara Falls. It was close enough to the main attractions, but offered a a nice escape from the crowds. The house had everything we needed. Thank you for a wonderful stay!
The Copper Penny is a unique old house full.of charm. It was nice and quiet and had everything we needed. The backyard patio was wondering and the host even dropped off some nice pumpkins and mums to spruce it up for fall. Jing was very nice and helpful whenever we had questions. We loved the house and would definitely stay again.

Lovely older, restored home in a nice section of town. Walking to the falls was too far for us, but WEGO was only 2 blocks away, so it was an easy commute.The owner could not have been more helpful and quick to respond to my requests..We loved staying here and would definitely return.
The house is a gem that is conveniently located to everything you want to do in Niagara. The character of the house is delightful. The neighborhood was quiet and safe for evening walks. The owners are very responsive and provide clear communication. We had a minor issue with the water heater our first month and the owner came immediately to fix it. I recommend it.
This property is amazing. Hosts were great. Property was clean, comfortable and close to the falls and Clifton Hills. We will be planning another trip to Niagara in the future and will book one of the hosts other properties.
Great stay on the Canadian side. Really close, less than a 10min easy walk, to the WeGo shuttle stop that will take you downtown to the falls and other places like the butterfly conservatory. Would stay again.

Why they chose this property
The Hawley House as it is called, built in 1893 was owned by the same family until 1985 with largely no alterations leaving the valuable vintage woodwork intact. Since 2004, besides updating all wiring & plumbing, upstairs flooring and installed period (1920's style) crystal chandeliers in all rooms together with walls and ceilings to match.
