3mi from the heart of Salida, this mountain paradise sits on 16 acres. There are two other dwellings on this property. A guest house, and the waterfront home is a town home. Unless the entire compound is rented, the river frontage ponds and grill areas for fishing are common areas.
This mountain oasis is a nature buff's dream. A comfy, older FL Wright style townhome has a Queen bedroom with ensuite bath, and the 2nd King bedroom also has a bunk room making it the perfect place for the whole family.
We have rafts and paddle boards available that can be provided with life jackets, water proof speakers, and coolers based on availability. Guided rafting, paddle board trips, and a trailer to shuttle gear can be added to your day for an additional cost.
Pet fee per pet. Fee depends on size of pooch and the nature of their coat. Dogs must be restrained while outside. There is a dog run available to leash them. We have crates in case you can’t take your pet with you when you’re not at the house, along with, dog beds and bowls! While we are extremely pet friendly, aggressive dogs are not welcome.
Our prices include all fees. No hidden fees.

The location was great. Easy access back to town. The kids loved exploring by the river. We had morning coffee by the river enjoying the peace of nature! The only negative was the smell of dog urine in the house.
Absolutely loved the tranquility and activities you can do on around town and the property. There’s fishing, paddle boarding, and rafting down the river available steps from the home. I recommend the zip line adventure park 15 minutes away, & the Royal Gorge is a beautiful 40 min drive. The house is very comfortable with a unique small waterfall and steam feature!
The kitchen is equipped with all you would need to make your stay feel like home. The location of this beautiful property is just 3 miles from downtown Salida for restaurants and shopping.
Bring your bug spray, 6 pm is the mosquito witching hour if you’re outside. Or plan a bonfire to keep bugs away to enjoy outdoor evening activities since there is so much water.
We had a very challenging experience with this stay. We'd like to get our money back. We've spent HOURS and HOURS in communication with the host and after my husband's last message to her, outlining everything that was unfair, not okay and out of integrity about our experience, she dropped the communications.
