About this property

Clean and quiet 200 sq ft. detached guesthouse with kitchenette nestled among vegetable gardens and native wildflower beds. Within walking distance of Asante hospital and several shops and restaurants. Easy access to freeway. 20 minutes from downtown Ashland and Jacksonville and only and 10 minutes from downtown Medford. Off-street parking available. Well-behaved pets welcome. Please no smoking inside the guesthouse or on the property.
The space
My husband and I designed and built this lovely tiny house together as a year-long weekend-warrior project. To minimize our ecological footprint, we installed solar panels, high-efficiency on-demand water heating, HE heating and cooling, sustainable bamboo flooring, and LED lighting. We also use eco-friendly cleaners and soaps. We think our eco tiny house is a great fit for couples, a family of three, or solo travelers. We hope that you find this guest house to be as cozy as we do!

Please note that the second bed is a pull-out chair. It is comfortable but on the small side. We think it's perfect for shorter adults and kids.
Guest access
Please feel free to explore the vegetable and native wildflower gardens in our front yard and relax on the cedar patio in front of the guest house. There is also a nice walking path along the creek that borders our property. If you need access to a washer and clothes dryer just let us know and we can help make arrangements.
Other things to note
There is a friendly dog who lives with us (Buddy). Buddy is a blue heeler mix. He is sometimes off-leash on our property and may come over and say hi.

Cozy and comfortable

This was the perfect little gem for our overnight stay. Everything was clean and had everything we needed even though we weren’t there long enough to enjoy or use it all! Such a sweet tiny home that provided a comfy, soft bed for our weary bones and wonderful hot shower at the end of a long driving day! Would absolutely stay here again!

Tiny house stay

My sister has always talked about a tiny house so when this came up I took it. Didn’t tell her. The look on her face when she saw the tiny house was precious. We loved it.

Eco Tiny House stay

A delightful and peaceful little cottage in a quiet neighborhood. Very tiny but a perfect place for an overnight or two. Cooking options included a microwave and coffee maker which worked well for our purposes.

On a road trip

We stopped just for the night and wanted a safe quiet place to lay our weary heads! Everything was as pictured. You could cook if you wanted to but we chose not to. Everything you need in a tiny space.
