3 bedrooms, one in the basement which is accessed by steep stairs. It was a great location for our visit to see family, affordable, clean. The owner, Brandi, is very responsive and helpful! Street parking (if you know Pittsburgh, it's on a hill). Easy drive to and from the airport, too. With 3 women sharing one bathroom, we had plenty of hot water! I will keep this on my list if I head east again.
We had a fantastic stay in Pittsburgh! The property provided easy access to all the attractions we wanted to visit. It was a short trip to museums, PNC Park, and downtown, making it perfect for our sightseeing plans. The location was ideal, and the accommodations were comfortable and convenient. Highly recommend for anyone looking to explore the city!
The house was very nice. Great kitchen and bath good floors. Beds good one a bit soft. Not 5 stars because almost none of the windows stay open they all slam shut and the don't even provide sticks to keep them up. We stayed in mid March and wanted to take advantage of the 70 degree days, but no luck.Would stay again just bring something to prop the windows open.
We came into town for Thanksgiving and the house was perfect for us! It had all the necessary amenities, including allowing dogs. It was stocked with a variety of dishes and laundry on site. There was plenty of parking right in front of the house. Very satisfied with our stay.
The house was very convenient in location in Carnegie; the layout of the house was very nice for our family.
We had a slight issue with the AC not being on when we arrived and it took over a day for the house to cool down; however, there were no other issues with AC after that. Big thanks to the property manager for the support and communication there.
As a sidebar, I would also recommend replacing the carpet in the side room, as there was a bit of a pet odor.
Overall though, the beds were relatively comfortable, the kitchen and appliances were great, and the backyard was a huge plus for our little one. Parking on the street was very easy.
Our stay went very well. We stayed there with 4 people (one couple and two single people) for 3 nights. the location made it easy to go down town and the others places we wanted to visit. Everything in the kitchen funtioned perfectly. The fact there was a game room, dining area and a living room area mad the place feel very spacious. Would definitely recommend the accomodation to others
Good location for city activities, older home with minor issues
Close proximity to the city. We really enjoyed the back yard. It is not fully fenced but with the shrubbery as a physical barrier we had no trouble with our dog running loose in the back yard. We had a few minor issues in the house. There was a broken window latch. The owner did order a new one but since our stay was only 2 nights it was not able to be repaired during our stay. We could only find 4 washcloths for our group of 6. Again, the owner was made aware and is planning on bringing more. Unfortunately it could not be corrected during our stay. Fortunately, there was laundry so we washed and dried so we would have enough for everyone. We could not locate the futon that was in the description. One bedroom is downstairs (very steep stairway) and 2 are upstairs on the main floor. If anyone in your group has mobility issues the basement bedroom would be difficult. The downstairs door to the back yard was difficult to latch. That door latch needs work to feel secure. The door code was very generic. I am hoping it gets changed every time. The place was relatively clean and cozy. Overall, it met our needs.
The property was very nice. The check in/out could not be any easier. The redecorating on this early to mid century house is very up to date and stylish, with durable materials and lots of stone, granite, or ceramic tile. You could comfortably stay here for days, weeks, or months, with a Lowes, Walmart, and ShopnSave minutes away. There are several good restaurants within walking distance, and the back yard was great for pets compared to the small and overused patches of grass when staying at traditional hotels.
We had a wonderful stay in a great and quiet neighborhood. The check-in and check-out process was seamless, making our experience even more enjoyable. This is an ideal place for a family getaway. Highly recommended.
We had a great stay at this clean house with good location to downtown Pgh. Easy check in and check out process. House has all the necessities for a weekend stay.
Cute house. Had amenities that we needed. Close to airport (18 min) and Pavilion at Star Lake (30 min to concert). Stopped by Carnegie Coffee Shop on way out which was really nice. Italian restaurant close by but couldn’t go because it was closed on Tuesdays.
My 3 daughters, grandson & I had a great stay. Place was immaculately clean, kitchen well equipped and location was convenient to everything we had planned to do on our trip. And- bonus… I slept like a baby. Bed was comfy & neighborhood was quiet.
The home was beautiful, the furnishings were comfortable, and the home was pretty modern. Would recommend! Thank you for allowing g us to rent your home for a few days!
This was a perfect spot for our family of 6 (with 4 young kids) to stay while traveling for a conference in the area. Updated kitchen and bathroom, and very clean feel throughout. Beds were comfortable, all essentials provided. Tastefully decorated with a minimalist approach (cozy, but not cluttered at all). Brandi was very responsive and friendly when we needed to contact her regarding a question about check-in. My only suggestion is that the check-in procedure, key code, and lock-box location be made more clear on the Vrbo confirmation email. Overall a great experience, and a hundred times better than a hotel!
The house and owner were wonderful. The house is small, and in a diverse neighborhood with charming working class small town and Main Street. Back yard great for dogs, but access is through Basement or gate in front of house, so you can't just open one door and let them out. An observation, not a complaint. Well worth the money, totally renovated and nice.
We had a great stay in this house! The listing is exactly what the house ended up being. The owner responded quickly when we had a question on where something was at. We would highly recommend you to stay here if you were looking in the area!
