This historic 3 bedroom fully furnished house offers lots of space for enjoying your stay with easy access to shops, restaurants, harbor, local theater, museums, waterfront parks and beautiful downtown areas! The main living floor has a full eat-in kitchen (granite & stainless), pantry, formal dining room, open foyer, attractive living room (with TV over the fireplace), full bath, & laundry. WIFI and cable included. Light and airy, the master bedroom (king bed) looks out over historic 'old town’ and Abbott Hall. The large second bedroom features a queen bed. The bedrooms both open to a full bath with a claw-foot tub/ shower. A very large and cozy 3rd floor bedroom has a full bed, 2 windows and a skylight. This home has been thoughtfully updated over the years, preserving most of the historic features and extensive woodwork. There is a modest side yard with a deck (with grill), brick patio, putting green, and small grass area. At the rear entry there is a porch. Garage parking available. Rent by week, month or annual.

Very comfortable, very Marbleheady old home complete with creaking floors, lots of wood, radiators that worked excellently (it was cold & rainy for part of the time we were there), updated windows and large fans in every room. The common areas were comfortable and useful while still being charming. The kitchen was well stocked, including a spice rack. The decor in the bedrooms was a little sparse and the third floor bed was too small for my young, newly married 20-somethings. It would be fine for one person. The upstairs shower was classic Marblehead retrofit but a little dangerous for older folks - needs a grab bar for exiting. Abbot Hall bells didn't disturb and only brought back memories. The Marblehead walking access was exactly what we were looking for! Thanks for the authentic Marblehead experience!

Great place to stay with all of the necessities for a multi day stay. The place was clean and charming. The area is a beautiful part of town. John, the host, made the check in process easy with great directions, instructions, and recommendations. He was responsive to questions and provided more info/recommendations for the surrounding area(s) when asked.

We had an amazing time visiting Marblehead!The house was perfect for us. We each had our own bedroom, the kitchen was fully equipped, and the downstairs area was perfect for sitting and talking. I had a few questions for John and he texted back each time in a timely, friendlymanner. Marblehead is a lovely little town and we want to go back. Will definitely stay in the same place!

Great Location

Located in the center of Marblehead, MA, the property is convenient to the two main shopping areas of Marblehead. Ample on street parking is a benefit, and, in the event of snow there is a garage on the property.

John is a wonderful host! We loved the house and its location was great. Marblehead is such a beautiful town rich in history. Easy ride from Marblehead to Salem. Beaches are within walking distance as well as several restaurants.

Absolute perfection!

This is such a a cool house right in the heart for Marblehead! You could not ask for a better location. The house was comfortable and clean with all the amenities you would expect. The owner went above and beyond to keep us comfortable during the recent heat wave.
