The house was great! Easy booking and communication with the host. The desk set up was helpful with an extra monitor. WiFi worked well. And the kitchen had everything we needed. Thank you!!
We’ve been coming to Borrego Springs for decades. This was a birthday trip & did not disappoint. We enjoyed & entertained in the house. It was well appointed. The little set aside areas outside were useful & interesting. It was cold so the unheated pool was nice to look at and unfortunately the fire pit would not stay lit. We had a great time!

Liked: Check-in, communication, location
While we were happy with the fact that the property was in a great location, pet friendly, had a pool, and had an easy check in, we felt the pictures were a bit deceiving. The property clearly has not been maintained to the standards of the photos. The pool was a bit dirty, the front yard was overgrown, the horseshoe pit as well as the whole front yard was full of weeds and overgrown, and the outdoor furniture was very sun-beaten. We should have called customer support for a new spot. The kitchen also did not have an exhaust fan so cooking on the stove was difficult - we had to open the window to vent. Probably would not stay here again
Stayed here for a few days , to explore the Anza Borrego area . This house was a perfect home base. Close to the park , and a great place to relax pool-side after a day hikining. Wonderful !
I enjoyed a quiet July 4th with my dear old dog away from the city's firework noise. The pool was refreshing in the morning and evenings, while the powerhouse AC kept things cool inside. The house was comfortable and tidy. I will definitely stay again.
The property was perfect for our winter getaway. The house was comfortable, well furnished and our dog loved the fenced backyard. Our host was very supportive during several extended power outages and always available if we had a question. We will definitely book again.
Nice property, was clean and very well stocked with all the necessities. Only drawbacks were the icemaker didnt work and the pool filter wasnt working well. Trees near pool need to be cut way back as too many leaves blowing into pool. Other than that, it was a great spot to relax! Close to market and Carlee's!
We were in Borrego Springs for a cycling event. Perfect location, loved the pool, the many different areas to hangout, and a nice big garage for all the bikes and equipment. Fun relaxing stay! Thank you!
Second stay at this property. Really like the back yard/pool area. Perfect for getting sun this time of year. Morning sun on the patio for breakfast was perfect. Kitchen is well equipped. Will stay again.
First, housekeeping had been to the house just prior to our arrival. This property was a big disappointment. Initially, we thought we were in the wrong place. Front was a weed patch with a broken fence, overturned chair and table, plastic pots around the yard, etc.The pool was dirty, not usable. Pool guys came the next morning, still not clean, the filter for vacuum was full and there was broken plaster from the side of the pool on the bottom. It was hard to tell if the bottom of the pool was dirty or needed paint. The temperature was in the low 90's, we really counted on having a pool!Outside the back doesn't look like pictures, furniture worn and faded cushions, a layer of dirt on everything, owner said there were high winds the week before but shouldn't housekeeping have at least swept?Inside the house first appeared okay but the primary bedroom shower was unusable due to faucet not attached, the rug on bathroom floor was dirty, stained and hair dryer was sticky, I used a washcloth around the handle to hold it. A lot of dirt had blown in on the windowsill. There was a smell from a very dirty vacuum in the closet and bed and linens had definitely seen better days.In the kitchen, the stove was dirty, there was stuck on food in the silverware divider, stove dirty and a lot of dirt on that windowsill, we washed everything before using. The icemaker was broken. In the garage, the washing machine lid and top dirty. There is more but I have used the allotted words.
We loved our stay in the desert. This home is beautifully decorated, spacious, and comfortable. The neighborhood is incredibly quiet. If you’re looking for a place to relax in silence this is a great choice.
Beautiful home near the Anza Borrego Park. It was very comfortable with many amenities and a lovely cool pool. We enjoyed searching the Anza Borrego Park at the entrance of Coyote Canyon within 5 miles drive. The owner was very communicative and we brought our dog which was fun for him too. Lots of dining options nearby or a complete kitchen to make your own meals.
Property had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The interior was clean, the kitchen was very nice with plenty of room. Master bed was comfortable, bathrooms fixtures were updated. Pool area was very roomy for families. Patio furniture was comfortable, we ate breakfast and lunch outside every day. Pool was clean, although we didn't swim(water was too cold). Would definitely stay again.
The neighborhood was very quiet. Accommodations were very adequate for our group. There were some dead plants in house and around yard, which made it appear untaken care of. But, kitchen was fully stocked and loved enjoying the outdoor area around pool and firepit. Thank you.
This home suited our family reunion group with all the luxuries of home. The kitchen and bbq satisfied the cooks while games and occasional movies helped others relax and enjoy our time at the desert. Shops and restaurants were very easy access, minutes away. And one of our highlights was having spent several nights stargazing!! Beautiful night skies here!! Having the pool was the icing on the cake as we did have several days above 90 degrees! The check in process was simple, and I felt communication with our host, Dan, would have been easy should we have needed. This was a fantastic trip and I would not hesitate booking again!! Thank you for a fantastic desert stay!
We thought the house was very nice, but very dusty and there were hand prints all over the slider, meaning the cleaning wasn't very good at all and walking on the floors were gritty. The tub had hairs as well. I was willing to let it all go till we found a giant dead roach behind a chair and I grossed out and asked for a cleaning fee refund. The next night a mouse, jumped out from behind a speaker to under the couch we were sitting on watching movie. Too much wild life for my liking. We got a tiny refund, even though the cleaning fee was three times as much as the refund. So, take it for what it's worth, nice house and location, but a little too much outdoors inside for me.

We’re very sorry for your dissatisfied experience Lisa. We pride ourselves on quality and want only first-rate experiences for our guests, which is why we use the top house cleaning professionals in the area for each turn over. Unfortunately, sometimes we miss the mark. Borrego is a very wild and scenic place, and sometimes the wild can creep into the home if left unchecked. We hope this doesn’t deter you from returning to Borrego in the future, as it really is a magical corner of the desert.
