Five of us enjoyed our time here and found the house to be very clean, well-equipped, and conveniently located. We used the pool once and found it to be the perfect temperature. Beds were very comfortable, and they provided plush towels and plenty of household supplies. Overall and very enjoyable experience and would not hesitate to return.

It was fine. Neighborhood was fine, house was nice enough. Pool was fine. Lack of towels, the shrubs are over grown. Showers don’t get hot ( but kitchen sink can scorch)., mold spots on outdoor umbrella and pillows, lack of soap/shampoo/ conditioner so bring your own. It was fine.

Was more home than my wife and I needed. We only slept here as most of our time was spent visiting family. It was clean, we didn’t end up using the pool area but it seemed to be in good working order. The house has some interesting architectural features built into it.

Charming Spanish Villa

Nice house in a nice quiet neighborhood. Clean with lots of charm. There is a second cottage on the property that shares the pool and other exterior amenities that was not clear on the listing. We had a potential issue with the other renter, but owners took care of it promptly, and we enjoyed our stay. Owners are very responsive. We would rent again.

Spectacular

Our main goal was to lounge by the pool, catch a Detroit Tigers game and get Miggy's signature!! All was accomplished! Beautiful place and convenient to coffee house and definitely check out the taco place on the corner, great food!! Expect to hear a few sirens, since it is close to the hospital :) Highly recommended, Love Marlana and Ed, perfect hosts!

Beautiful Home - Awesome Hosts

My son moved to Lakeland last October and we have visited multiple times since. We have had some wonderful experiences, however this is probably our favorite home! We had a little hiccup that was 💯 percent not within the control of the hosts, however they were quick to react and make things right! Their communication was immediate and constant. The house is beautiful and the pool is lovely. We will definitely be back!

Cute house, conveniently located

We enjoyed our stay in this Lakeland house while visiting family and friends. The house is conveniently tucked away in a quiet neighborhood near the medical district with a nice coffee shop just a short walk away. The house has a nice old Spanish feel to it, which we enjoyed. The layout of the house is very usable, with a comfortable den and spacious kitchen/breakfast room, two main bedrooms and another room set up with some twin beds for the kids, plus a laundry/drip room next to the pool. The pool area is nice and private, although it was a bit too cool for us to swim in December. There are a couple other nice outdoor conversation areas outside the fenced in pool area, too. Overall, we were pleased with our stay at this hideaway right near everything we needed.

The hosts were very quick with responding to any questions I had, There was a small leak and they were responsive and came to patch up the sink until we checked out. They gave us great recommendations for beach options. Neighborhood was quiet and very cute. The property was gorgeous, beds comfy, the pool was excellent. Only recommendation was to note that the pool is a shared property and it would be nice to know if there is someone else staying on the other property as to not be surprised when we walk outside. Guest in the other house were cool we had no issues sharing pool space. I would definitely rent out this property again and would recommend anyone to stay with no doubts.

nice quiet neighothood

our stay was quite nice. our only complaints would be that the kitchen was large and beautiful but lacked a simple amenity of a toaster and we had to contact the host to arrange for toilet paper and garbage bags.. My biggest concern was to find out that the rental unit next door had the same key code and those renters accidentally came into our unit. They apologized and said they realized when they arrived late and saw our jackets on the couch. Seems they were in our unit while we were sleeping. This was very scary. I don't think safety was a priority as the key code to our unit was the same as the address..

Wonderful Property with Lovely Hosts

Having a college student at one of the universities nearby (and living 1000 miles away), we have made many trips to Florida in the past 18 months. We have traditionally stayed in hotels but will not be doing so anymore. We will be renting this VRBO property again (and again). The house was beautifully done and so very comfortable for the entire family. The hosts were fantastic and went to great lengths to make sure everything was great for our stay. This property is conveniently located to many of Lakeland's popular areas and as such, it was the perfect location for everything we selected to do while there. The only reason for not giving 5 stars for Accuracy of Online Listing was that I did not realize that the pool was a shared pool with another home on the property. If it was listed, I missed it. It was a little awkward to go jump in the pool when a stranger is swimming in it so we did not use the pool as much as we had hoped. That said, it will not deter us from renting here again and we are very much looking forward to calling this our new home away from home for the coming years while our son attends college in Lakeland! Highly recommend!
