Interior of the property was as supported to be in the pictures which was fine, the AC had some issues which the host responded to quickly, the outside of the property was overrun and overgrown with weeds. You cannot enjoy the backyard as a picture shows which is a shame because that yard has a lot of potential. It would be a nice place to hang out, but it’s totally overgrown and unkept, if the yard was given some attention, I would definitely stay there again
We chose this property as we were renovating our home and it was close to everything.including shopping.
The property has everything we needed. It was very clean and fully equipped. There were little touches like note pad and pen in he kitchen and extras in the bathroom. We would stay here again.
Very nice property for a 30 day extended stay. Property very clean, newly remodeled, roomy and well equipped for an extended stay for 2 persons. Nice view of bay, nice residential neighborhood and very close (walkable) to amenities (grocery store etc). Good base for east bay area (hiking, wineries, shopping). One minor point is the kitchen did not have an oven (only cooktop) which would have been nice for some variety cooking dinners during an extended stay.
The unit is nicely decorated and very clean and new. A little difficult for a long stay because of limited kitchen and VERY small refrigerator. A desk would be very helpful to avoid having to use the small dining table - have to move computer constantly when time to eat.
Communication could've been a bit better from owner (felt like I was bothering him if I asked a question). A welcome manual would be nice with instructions. Lighting could be improved from street to unit door - uneven tile sidewalk with plants growing between tiles (a bit slippery). Overall a nice property.
Clean, safe, private, peaceful and some water front views
The property was spacious inside and felt like our home.
The closets are amazing and have a lot shelves. The bathroom was huge. The fans were great for the hot days they also have AC too, but we were conserving energy. The full size washer and dryer was a bonus and it is quiet. The bed is a Casper and pillows, super comfy! Hosts are friendly and very accommodating. Everything was provided that we needed and more, (laundry baskets and soap, dishwashing liquid, hand soap. foil, plastic wrap, towels, tissue, dishes, pot/pans, rice cooker, toaster, closet hangers, utensils etc.). This place was a winner for us and will be for anyone who stays here. Raley's grocery store, subway, panda express, Starbucks, Jamba juice, round table pizza, Burger King, café, $1 str, Latin and Thai eateries are literally within walking distance, down the hill. Do yourself a favor and visit the Farmer's Mkt on Thursdays 4pm-7pm a 2min drive in downtown Benicia.

Why they chose this property
Benicia is a Main Street city, meaning the downtown area has one central street from which everything branches off. This road is called First Street and you will find many interesting places along the way. This element and the waterside geography give Benicia a quaint, small-town feel while being located close to all the regional features of the East Bay Area. If you are a hiker, check out Lake Hermon north of the city or for a more challenging hike- Briones of Martinez to the South. Maybe you are a big wino? We are only 35 minutes from the world-famous Napa wine country- home to notable wineries like Stag's Leap, Beaulieu Vineyard, Sterling Vineyards, and the Robert Mondavi Winery.
What makes this property unique
The kitchen is fully stocked with dinnerware and high-quality cookware giving you all you need for a long-term stay. Feel like you are sleeping on clouds with a Casper queen mattress with matching Casper pillows in the bedroom. Don't worry about storing what you bring or buy. The bedroom has a giant closet with organizers and floor-to-ceiling mirrored closet doors. All window shades are blackout for better sleep and privacy.
