A spectacular mid-century style cottage on Lake Winnipesaukee, this retro haven is located in a quiet, family-friendly neighborhood on Spindle Point and is situated facing Stonedam Island and Cummings Cove. This is the perfect place to unwind, unplug and recharge! Enjoy lakeside living from the open-air lower deck, screened porch, or L-shaped dock complete with an 8x6 sitting area. The interior bodes authentic mid-century styling and a mix of modern conveniences and 1960s charm (with just the right amount of kitsch to keep it fun). An open floor plan combines the living room and kitchen with a breakfast bar. The kitchen is equipped with vintage china, glassware, serving pieces, and barware. The upper porch has chaises and chairs for reading or napping and a redwood picnic table for dining. There is a full bath with a shower, a gas grill, and garage access for storing your bikes. You will find excellent swimming, kayaking, water skiing, and tubing conditions. Take a scenic walk on the 1.2-mile loop around Spindle Point or the short wooded trail up Eagle Mountain; go for a run on the rolling lakeside roads; wade at the residents-only beach (just a short drive away!). Play board games or take each other on at Ping-Pong. WiFi and cable TV are provided for guests who do not want to unplug completely. This cottage has been making wonderful summer memories for the young and young-at-heart since 1963, enjoy your time here and take away your own memories.
