Pat met us as we drove into the property. She gave us a little tour of the place and then left us to our devices. Robin checked on us the next day to make sure all was good. This is a special place. Lots of old country knick knacks that just ooze with southern country character. I really liked the stay and would recommend it to anyone looking for something different. 10 out of 10!

Loved this place and the host was super sweet! We were personally greeted by our host Pat. We had everything we needed and she even had freshly baked blueberry muffins and apple juice. The view overlooking the pond with the peacocks was so serene. Being able to disconnect was what we were looking for during our stay. We look forward to coming back and staying again.

Ms. Pat was so wonderful and even left us a few goodies in the frig! The cabin was beautiful with its display of her husband’s artwork; he is very talented. We loved seeing the animals and a woodpecker even visited. Great little vacation!

Clean as a whistle. The sitting room next to the pond was a wonderful place to relax and meditate. The grounds were lush with peacocks, buffalo, and goats, but best off all we came across a swath planted in buckwheat, my favorite cover crop. If you like to visit antique stores you will love sleeping in one. I almost forgot the covered bridge with its traditional mortise and tenon construction. Pretty cool. Centrally located also for the sites of jonesborough, a Johnson City, and Elisabethton.

I have been traveling and staying around the world for many decades and I must say that this was one of the most enjoyable and relaxing stays anywhere! From the animals to the old cabin with all of its precious antiques, we cannot wait until our next visit! Patricia and her family were beyond friendly and just made us feel so welcomed!

Such a beautiful spot with so much to explore plus easy access to the main road. Hosts were so kind and welcoming. Shared a lot about the history of the place and how they taken care of and evolved it over time. We'll have to come back to spend more time here!
