Great layout and location. We went for a quick ski weekend and as always eat at Joey's Pancake House. This rental was right around the corner from Joey's, so it was close to everything. The cabin is beautiful with easy parking in driveway. Brandon was quick to respond with any questions. We will be back.

I cannot say enough good things about this property and the owner. He was so accommodating when ice in our hometown kept us from traveling on our initial date. The home is PERFECT! I currently live in Charlotte, NC with my wife, our 3 children and our dog. WE LOVE THE MOUNTAINS! It’s just under a 3-hour drive for us from Charlotte to Maggie Valley and we are over there every chance we get. Anytime the kids have no school on a Monday or Friday we are there for a 3-day weekend…doesn’t matter the time of year. The Maggie Valley / Waynesville area is the perfect location for anything you could want to do outdoors. Endless hiking, awesome waterfalls, tubing (snow & river), rafting, fishing, playing in the creeks, snowboarding & skiing, apple picking and on and on. Our family loves to be outdoors with nature every chance we get. What started with 1 vacation rental home in 2014 has now grown to 7. I personally manage all the listings, bookings and communication between guests to ensure an awesome trip. Any questions, comments, concerns or issues I am always available by phone, text or e-mail.

Why they chose this property

Smoky Bear Cabin is located in Crocketts Meadow, one of the most desirable neighborhoods in all of Maggie Valley. It's low down with extremely easy access to the house including a large driveway. Smoky Bear Cabin is a true log cabin with two master bedrooms each with their own bathrooms. The home has a great covered porch that extends along the front and side of the house. Elk often frequent the area in the evening and will walk right through the yard. The house is fully stocked with everything you need for a great mountain vacation. This house has been a vacation rental since 2015 with over 200 5-star reviews.
