Casa Blanca

The condo was spotless. Some peeling paint and gouged woodwork. Beautiful view of the ocean. Outdoor furniture worn but comfortable.

Not Worth The Cost

We're frequent visitors to Rocky Point but have never taken our dogs before. We chose Casa Blanca because it is pet friendly. Wanted to take our dogs. We specifically chose to do this in January when it's cold and we would be in the condo most of the time. We enjoyed having a king size bed in both bedrooms however there are no TVs in either of the bedrooms. The TV in the living room doesn't work much. I contacted the host who told me to turn on the Blu-ray player and follow the menu options for streaming services. It did take me to Netflix, but that's it. literally no other TV options available. When I contacted the host a second time to tell him that I could not get the TV to work properly he stopped responding to me. The furniture both inside the condo and out on the patio are in need of repair. The wall in the guest bathroom looks like it either has holes, or mold, or maybe both. The table on the balcony is completely broken and falling apart. The cooking sheet inside of the toaster oven was so dirty and rusted out that I had to take it out and put my food directly on the heating rack. The table in the living room is unstable. If you rest anything on it, it wobbles. I took pictures of everything. The listing says it's a short walk to the beach. I disagree, it is not a short walk. The private Wi-Fi worked very well. The views of the ocean are pretty. The bedding in both bedrooms was very good quality.

Hello Diana, We are truly sorry for the negative issues you experienced during your stay. It is very important for all guests to contact our team through the VRBO feed rather than direct texts to the phone of 1 team member. As I was extremely tied up with another guest, I was unable to attend to my phone. There are 2 other team members who watch the company feed. We will attend to the issues you described. Although many owners do not spend the money for direct TV and other TV services, only Netflix and Amazon TV are typically available. Local channels are typically not suitable for 95% of our guests. We have 42 condos to offer and although Building C is the closest to the beach, other resorts offer direct access off the back patio or closer to the building. However, Casa Blanca is the only resort offering guests to bring pets. We pride ourselves on excellent customer service through our team effort. We hope you will try us again for a better experience.
