Relax in the Sun at the Beach, Grab a set of Waves on the boogie Boards or surf Boards, ride the bikes for ice cream or book an off shore fishing adventure. The lost Loggerhead has all and then some. Recent $100k renovation completed in March 23. So be the first to enjoy the new Kitchen, Baths, Furniture and Decks. Home has 4 bedrooms 2.5 Baths. Great location 2 homes from the Ocean and 1/2 mile from the Food Loin and 7 miles from the Cape Hatteras Lighthouse. So have all the best of Hatteras Island and Avon all within walking or a bike ride. We loaded the home with Beach Chairs, Beach Towels, Umbrella, Beach Cart, 3 Foam Surf Boards and 4 Boogie Boards plus a picnic cooler. We also put in an Xbox, smart TV's in every room, books and a ton of games for those times when you are not on the Beach. Lower deck with shade cover - so enjoy the sun or shade plus light a fire in the pit. 2 different grills one gas and one charcoal so you can get the favor and taste you want.

Please remove all trash and take tied bags to the large recepticals outside. Please take large trashcans to the curb on Monday night and Thursday night.

We lived for years in the Hampton Roads (757) market and spent weekends and summers in OBX. We final got to a place where we could own a home here year around and we wanted to equip it as we would use it- full of all the toys for a great week rain or shine. We spend 4 plus months here, so it is our home away from home. We know our neighbors there and love the community in the off season. If you can find the time, come in October- the weather is still warm the town is almost empty, but the shops are open the best fishing hits then too. the cooler nights and the stars- with no streetlights you can see every constellation.
Why they chose this property
So got this property on July 1 2022. We picked it cause it was truly walkable to everything in Avon and a Bike ride to Buxton or the lighthouse. Our favorite Pizza place Gidgett's is near the Food lion and our section of the beach is far less crowded as it does not have a major neighborhood dumping 400 homes to one access point. Our access is deeded for 25 homes- so you have all the room you need. Additionally this home has both Ocean and sound views- and not like one window lean left and you see the horizon. We can see waves from the decks and even the Bedroom on the first floor. The sound views are a bit more horizon based but the sunsets are extreme and we can see the Cape Hatteras light house from the deck or the crows nest day or night. ***Now we did buy this property based off pics and location and had never seen it **Major Mistake- this home was in major disrepair. In the first 3 days we threw out 2700 pounds of trash and just ugly stuff like cleaning out grandmas house. In those 3 days we put some lipstick on this pig as this home was rented until middle of September 2022. During that we planned our rehab which was major- and we have more to come over 2023/24- The major renovations will be finished early March.

This home has an awesome location- 500ft from the beach with an beautiful beach path. Plus with 4 stories you can see the Ocean from the bottom floor to the top, watch the sunset on the sound and see the Hatteras lighthouse from the forth floor as well as watch all the beautiful Kite surfers in Canadian Hole just a half mile south of the house. We also provide everything you need from linens and beach towels. To boogie boards and surf boards as well as Bikes and coolers, beach carts. We make sure you just need to bring you clothes and the desire to have fun and relax.
