The location is terrific-walkable to the beach and a short drive to lots of restaurants and shops. the condo has a nice porch, a shared pool, parking, good closet space, and for a couple and our two teenage sons the layout was great. Steve was generally responsive and sent a cleaning crew to clean the kitchen cabinets when we shared photos of their condition so we could use them. The condo itself was a bit rundown and the various closets and storage spaces were all disorganized and full of stuff. The living room furniture was faded, there was a large stain on the bedroom carpet, the main bedroom’s bathroom ceiling fan was hanging by a thread and very loud, the closet had space but was filled with a lot of the owners stuff haphazardly, the upper kitchen cabinets had apparently been newly installed but there was wood dust in the cabinets and all the kitchen items had been shoved into the lower cabinets so it was hard to tell what was available. There is a storage closet with beach gear but it was filled to the brim with things just being tossed in and it was difficult to tell what was available and the chairs were all old and rusted. We were instructed to wash all sheets and towels before check out but no laundry detergent was provided and check out was 10am making that request very inconvenient. We ended up leaving a day early because the weather got cooler and we didn’t want to spend the day in the condo.
