Relax, enjoy nature, and family fun in this island home that's new to the rental market. The artist owners of this home have outfitted it with unique paintings and island artifacts to make you feel like you're a real Block Islander! It offers all of the amenities you'd need, like AC, WiFi, comfortable seating and sleeping areas, as well as a private office space if you need to get some work done. It is tucked away in a quiet neighborhood, but yet is walking distance to the ferry, town, the Spring House, and many other Block Island favorites. The property boasts its own nature trails and pond with kayaks and canoes - and bring your fishing pole as it's full of sunnies and perch! After a day at the beach, get cleaned up in the large outdoor shower and get ready for a relaxing evening on the deck where you can watch the sun set over the pond. Once you spend time at Mallard Cove, you’ll never want to leave!

Our stay got extended due to weather. Our host was able to accommodate us. This home was well supplied and gave us the ability to feel comfortable in an open home environment. There have been VRBO homes that have locked closets and leave a price list of items if they needed to be replaced. This house was perfect for our family. We really felt at home. Thank you hosts.

A great stay

We were out on Block Island for a long weekend. Multiple adult families with a couple infants. Location was great. House is great. Nice view of the pond and easy walk to town. Would stay here again. Thank you!

Amazing Pond Front Home

Our stay could not have gone better. Our family was able to spread out in the four sleeping areas and the kitchen/dining/living area was perfect for meals and games! We need Yellow Kittens and the local RI band the Yardbarkers both Friday and and Saturday and Tiger Fish was quite good for the burger alternative!

Beautiful home

Our stay was great! This property was clean and beautiful and the host communicated quickly. There are fun little paths to explore and paddling and fishing on the pond was fun and easy with the kids. It’s a bit of an uphill walk from Town with small kids but our almost 4 year old was able to make it.

The ultimate Block Island house

My friends and I had an amazing weekend! The house was spotless and had everything you would need! Amazing outdoor space and a lookout on the roof. The location is perfect. Quiet w/a private pond but walking distance to town. I’ve been coming to block island for over 30 years and this is by far one of my top 5 block island houses! Will definitely stay again

Beautiful Hime

The house had all of the amenities and was in a great location. Pond and dock with toys was great! The house could have been a little cleaner especially in the kitchen. But still a great home.

Kitchen was fine, we had no pets. The basement living area cannot be lived in. We were 5 people. One couple in the master, the other couple in the room upstairs with two beds; but one of those mattresses was very soft. The other person slept in the queen room. The basement and both beds were musty. You could not sleep in the basement area. There was a mouse living in the downstairs closet. It was .25 miles from the main road and .6 miles from town. There was one TV that was dated. The view from the roof was excellent.

Perfect BI vacation spot!

We were lucky to have spent two weeks at Mallard Cove. We have been coming to BI for many years now with our children, who are now young adults, and this house is at the top of our list for sure. The property is very private and has a nice yard to enjoy. The views over the pond are beautiful at sunset and when you awake in the morning. The location of this house was a bonus as well. It only takes a few minutes to drive to town and is walkable too if you prefer. The house had everything we needed to be comfortable over the two weeks. The hosts were responsive and very accommodating. This is definitely a true treasure and a BI house we hope to rent in the future! Impossible not to love Mallard Cove!
