With only a 2 minute walk down to the beach, and a birds eye view of the cove, we are sure this is the place for you. Enjoy sunsets on the balcony, or go for a swim at one of the 3 communal pools. There is also a delicious fresh restaurant on the beach just 3 minutes away walking. Also,Coco beach is just a 10 minute drive with plenty of supermarkets,shops, or places to dine. Also only about a 30 minute drive from the Liberia Airport so in no time you will be relaxing in paradise.

There is 24 hour security gate that has cameras and patrol to help make you feel extra safe. It is family friendly and a quiet relaxing atmosphere which allows you to be present in the moment and forget your troubles. The kitchen is fully equipped to cook, wine, and dine. My personal favorite are the windows in the shower to truly connect with nature, while still having your amenities.

Peaceful coastal stay

A 5-minute walk to a nice black sand beach. The place was safe, peaceful and very clean. It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay and to enjoy a day at the beach. The view from the balcony was very picturesque, and Kimberly was a great host.

Fantastic Stay at Playa Ocotal

We absolutely loved our stay at Kimberly's condo in Los Almendros. The view is spectacular and we enjoyed several amazing sunsets. We appreciated all of the amenities provided - everything from a fully-stocked kitchen, laundry facilities, and beach/snorkeling supplies - we lacked for nothing! The beds are super comfy and having two bathrooms was so convenient and appreciated. We also loved the quiet location and easy access to the beach and Father Rooster's. We would gladly stay at this wonderful property on our next visit to Playa Ocotal!

Everything is as described, and better—- the view is outstanding!! A short walk to the beach (it is a bit of a hill, but we enjoyed the steps), 3 beautiful pools, and we love Playa Ocotal. Very safe, friendly community- highly recommended.

Really well equipped apartment, exactly as described. Great views of the bay and sunsets. Can see howler monkeys from the balcony. Ocatal is a really nice beach with a mix of locals and gringos, felt very safe. Small supermarket at the top of the hill and Father Roosters restaurant 2 mins walk away. Lots to do in the nearby area or just chill.

Perfect Location to relax

Property was great, right on the beach. Ocotal beach is amazing if you are looking for a quieter place to relax and enjoy the ocean. Loved having a balcony that faced the ocean as we spent every night relaxing there. A/C was great to have. Convenient to have a great restaurant right there, Father Roosters right on the beach. Have to go into Coco to shop, get supplies but close enough, cab ride was $10. Next time I would rent a golf cart or ATV for quick rides into town if I didn't rent a vehicle. Quick walk down to the beach. Would definitely recommend and stay again :)

kimberly is a host bar none. her tips were excellent and the condo ideal. the latter, quiet, spacious. the view, stunning. the outfitting - beach towels, beach chairs, and snorkeling gear - generous. we also deeply appreciated how accessible kimberly was.we returned home reluctantly and with memories we will recount in perpetuity.if you’re looking for a reliable host and a beautiful rental in guanacaste, kimberly’s condo in playa ocotal is can’t-miss. really i can’t overstate the beauty of the location, the comfort of the condo, and the ease of communication with the host.don’t sit on your hands on kimberly’s vrbo rental. really! it won’t disappoint.

Beautiful Views Beautiful Place

The condo was very nice. New owners are in the process of updating. It has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Love having a washer dryer so we don't have to pack a ton of clothes. Love the local services available, like the German Bakery on Saturday, a traveling barber, and inexpensive cabs to Coco for groceries and other restaurants. Father Rooster is a must! Great location! Great amenities in the complex. Pool was just below the back balcony/patio. Truly a quiet and relaxing place❤️

Wonderful!

We absolutely loved this condo at Los Almendros! Sweeping ocean and jungle views everywhere and walking distance to the prettiest beach in the area. The beach has plenty of shade and is swimmable. The condo is in great condition and very well cared for. We spent a lot of time on the deck which has blinds and a fan. Father Roosters restaurant on the beach is walking distance and we also used the nicely equipped kitchen to make meals. Kimberley was very response and accommodating and the complex has a great management team that kept everything under control. Ocotal is a short drive from Coco where we could do our shopping. The property grounds are beautiful and lush green. We saw many colourful birds from the deck and a lone howler monkey that did his daily rounds. Overall this unit and the complex surpassed our expectations and we spent a wonderful two weeks here! Costa Rica is a wonderful country, the people are friendly and warm and very helpful. Hope to be back!

Beautiful and peaceful retreat

Beautiful and peaceful location . Gorgeous views. A bit steep to get to but Island Golf Carts made it work with an electric golf cart and a 100 foot extension that Brian provided. Ocotal is lovely; Father Rooster’s not to be missed and Coco 10 minutes by golf cart. The unit had everything we needed but should add the amenities to the VRBO writeup— beach chairs and towels, snorkel equipment and some food and drink items that were much appreciated. Ask for Memo for excursions or getting to and from airport. Pura Vida indeed!!!!
