The space
About an hour and a half from Portland and Acadia National Park, this tiny cabin puts you close enough to it all at an extremely reasonable price point! Where else can you get enough room to sleep 4-6 people (6 if you have kids) people that is lake front with access to kayaks, canoe, BBQ and a fire pit at this price?!? Enjoy the serenity of the waters edge where you will hear the welcoming call of your neighbors- the loons and Bald Eagles.
Guest access
Guests can enjoy full access to the lake and backyard. The dock and deck can be freely used along with the kayaks and canoe. We do have a washer and dryer in the main house that can be utilized with the proper coordination.
Other things to note
The cabin has a composting toilet. The kitchenette has a small sink with hot and cold water. There is also a sink in the bathroom. There is an outdoor shower with hot and cold water.

FAQ
Is there AC- There is no AC. We don’t even have it in the house. Just a few window units for the hottest time of the year. The cabin is actually cooler than the main house and the big windows open up in all the rooms for ventilation. They also have screens.

Is there electricity? Yes. There are outlets throughout the cabin with lights on switches. There is also an outdoor light that lights up the entry and yard leading to the cabin.

How close is the cabin to the main house? The tiny cabin sits off the porch of the main house by about 25’. The cabin sits on ground level and the porch is elevated up about 6’ from ground level. There is a curtain on the cabin bedroom window and the main house has covered windows for privacy to those in the house and those in the cabin.
