Wonderful Stay

We have been coming to this complex for many years. This has been my favorite condo. It was clean, had modern furnishings and everything needed to help make for a great stay for my family. The hosts were helpful and easy to communicate with as well.

Perfect beach getaway

The location near restaurants, beaches and shopping is fantastic. Many within walking distance. A short drive to downtown St. Augustine. Our host could not have been more accommodating with many amenities. We really enjoyed our visit and will definitely be returning!

Great place to stay

We had a very nice stay on this property. It was beautifully decorated and comfortable. We loved the short walk to the beach and pool. Having towels and beach chairs was perfect. We did buy umbrellas for the beach and left them for future visitors since they were not provided and the cost to rent them was very high by beach services in the area. We will definitely be looking to stay in this property the next time we visit. We love St. Augustine

Absolutely wonderful stay! Amy the Owner is so attentive and went above and beyond to meet our Family’s needs. She had a quick response anytime we had a ?. Everything was immaculate & had everything we needed. The beds are very comfortable, the unit is cleaned. Amy thinks of every detail to make the stay just like it were our own home. The hose outside is lovely for rinsing off beach stuff and we love enjoying dinner & drinks on the lovely patio. Thank you for another wonderful week. We are looking forward to our return next month.

Nice beach vacation

The condo was furnished nicely, not the typical beachy furniture some places use. It was nice being on the ground floor with the large patio leading out to the pool and beach. Not having to lug chairs and stuff up and down stairs was a plus. The location was great, there were a lot of restaurants on the beach area without having to go downtown St. Augustine which can be more crowded. Yet you are a short drive from downtown and all of the historic areas of St. Augustine. Overall we felt safe in the gated condo complex and would definitely come back.

Clean, organized, comfortable

This property is immaculate. By far the best stocked kitchen of any rental. The linens were cozy, the furniture was comfortable, the buildings and grounds were very well taken care of. Though our weather wasn't great, having the two pools was such a wonderful thing for our two kids. The owner was very quick to respond prior to booking, and was quick to help when we had questions while there. 5 out of 5!

Great Beach Condo

Our stay was amazing! The perfect location for us. It was so convenient having Publix just down the street and so many great nearby restaurants. We rarely had to leave the beachside for anything! The condo is beautiful! Everything we needed was provided. It truly felt like at home away from home. The place was sparkling clean and we love that we were on the ground floor. We spent a fair amount of time on the patio in the evenings. We can’t wait to return for another beach get away in St. Augustine. We will definitely book this place again!

Stunning condo with everything you could need

Everything is immaculate & beautiful just as the pictures show. Unit comes stocked with everything you need (beach chairs, wagon, outdoorgames, towels, bathroom toiletries, beautiful kitchen with all the items you could need, table games and books. The beds are so comfortable, the outdoor area is perfect for hanging out & having meals, and a hose is available to rinse off beach equipment which we loved. Fabulous communication from the owner from before arrival and throughout the stay. She is literally thought of everything to make this the perfect vacation stay. We have stayed at many condos and this one far exceeded our expectations. We booked two more stays before we checked out. We can’t wait to return!

Amazing beach condo!!

This condo is sophisticated unlike most units I’ve rented. Clean and pristine. Unit is very well appointed. Leather sofas were very comfortable after a day in the sun and we spent so much time out on the outdoor patio. Huge beach cart to haul our chairs, umbrella and cooler. I liked that we had a hose on patio to rinse our stuff off. Corn-hole & paddle ball sets to play in lawn off the patio was nice. The location was convenient. Several restaurants within a mile of condo. This beach condo is gated and we felt very safe. We will be returning at the end of the summer.

My parents bought this gem back in 1996. I thoroughly enjoy spending time with our family here in St. Augustine. With the help of my sister Stephanie (co-owner)who is an interior designer, we have transformed this ground floor unit into an upscale beach oasis. We now want to share our special getaway with guests that desire a well appointed vacation spot. I think Ocean Villas is special because it’s in the hub of Anastasia island. We frequently walk or bike ride to our favorite restaurants, Starbucks and of course Publix. Ocean Villas is unique because it’s obviously beachfront but offers guests plenty of open grass space to allow your children to play outside. Our outdoor patio offers views to beautiful landscapes. I enjoy walking down the curvy pathway lined with canna lilies and clusters of palm trees. The pathway leads down to the zero entry pool and to the private gate access to the beach. We have spent countless hours lounging on the patio while grilling our seafood and watching our teens play outside. We especially enjoy playing a game of corn hole or paddle ball. After dinner we love lighting up our table top fire bowl to make s’more’s for our guests. Todd my husband and I have really cherished those moments. So no matter the age of your family members you will also appreciate spending time outside on villa 49’s patio watching, laughing and competing with your family members. Just good quality time, which really reminds one’s self how important time with your family and friends is irreplaceable.

Why they chose this property

Anastasia Island is a laid back beach town buffered by nature preserves and blessed with ocean breezes. You get there by taking the Bridge of Lions over Matanzas Bay. It’s a popular tourist destination, but it doesn’t get overrun.
You’ll find more mom and pop surf shops and classic roadside motels here than elsewhere in the city. Stretching from Anastasia State Park, with its more than 1,600 acres of unspoiled beaches and amphitheater, to the Matanzas Inlet, the 14-mile long barrier island also supports dozens of thriving residential districts and commercial corridors where you can get just about everything you need.
