Great space, rented it for a conference at the nearby convention center for three of us from our company. It was easy to Uber back-and-forth and the facilities and kitchen and individual bedrooms were great for us.

There were not televisions in every room as informed. Place was clean (except for appliances, oven). Was hoping that there would be coffee filters and some coffee as we arrived very late, but we left the filters for the next guests. Otherwise, place was stylish, conveniently located and bathrooms were amazing (minus no outlet in master bath, but plenty elsewhere).

Hi Helena,
Thank you again for the helpful feedback, we really appreciate it and are glad you enjoyed the style, location, and bathrooms.
Apologies for the missing items. We’re always happy to provide anything that may have been overlooked. We live nearby and could have dropped off coffee filters and coffee within minutes if we had known, so please never hesitate to reach out during future stays. We will make sure these are stocked going forward.
For the master bathroom, there is a labeled extension cord that allows up to three devices to be plugged in for your convenience. We will make sure to clarify this in our listing so it is not missed in the future.
We currently have two 55” TVs, one in the master bedroom and one in the living room. Thank you for the suggestion on adding TVs to the other guest rooms, we will definitely consider that.
During future stays, whether with us or other hosts, communication is key and top notch hospitality is always our goal as hosts.
Thanks again for staying with us and we hope you all had a safe trip home!
Best,
Alex

Had a wonderful stay here while in Chicago, host was super communicative and responded quickly to anything I asked. We really appreciated the snacks he provided for us, since we were at a bartending event all day. Would 100% stay again!
The reviews of the property stood up. From the great location, ease of access to many local businesses and attractions, the cleanliness, to the responsiveness from the host to our needs, I mean its all there. This place did not disappoint. 10/10 would do again!

absolutely marvelous experience. modern and spacious layout with everything you need and more. close to U Chicago and whole foods right around the corner. will definitely book again!!
Stayed here with 5 family members for a wedding weekend. Great gathering spaces, comfortable bedrooms, walking distance to the train, good restaurants, the wedding venue and a great Mexican arts museum. Loved it!
2 families of 4 in Chicago for the weekend and we had a great time. Place is big, quiet and very clean. Nice updated bathrooms. Only bummer was a parking ticket for not moving car for street cleaning —they apparently sneak signs onto the trees the night before. Our only bummer. We would stay here again!

Sorry to hear about your ticket, Troy! To clarify, the signs are put up by the city for street cleaning once every other month and ticket accordingly. They typically are up 2-3 days before street cleaning.
Aside from that I’m glad you enjoyed your stay!
We (grandparents, parents, and child) thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The apartment was just as spacious as the photos show, and also surprisingly quiet. It was also, happily and unexpectedly, very close to the Field, Adler and Shedd, just a ten minute drive during midweek. We cooked one dinner and all our breakfasts at the apartment, which had all the utensils, pots n pans we needed. It did not have washcloths or hot pads, perhaps an oversight, but! communication with the host was super easy and within hours we had extras of both. We don't go to Chicago often, but we would stay here again. Highly recommend!

Thank you so much for the kind words! We’re so glad your whole family—grandparents, parents, and little one—had a great stay. It’s always nice to hear the space felt comfortable and quiet, and we love that you got to enjoy the museums nearby—we’re big fans of how close everything is too, from the Field to the Shedd to Soldier Field! Thanks also for the heads-up about the washcloths and hot pads—appreciate your patience, and we were happy to get those to you quickly. You were a joy to host, and we’d love to welcome you back anytime!
Very convenient location, beautiful home furnishings, killer retro style furnished living room, massive TV, open kitchen, polished off with incredibly finished bathrooms and LOTS of room to stay and socialize, play a card game or just watch the game. Walked to many different restaurants and pubs with Binny’s beverage and East Pilsen just a short walk over 90.
Alex was a great host, very easy to contact when needed. The check in process was very easy. Parking right outside the building on the street. The condo was exactly as described. Very spacious. The condo is close to pretty much everything.

Great communication with host! We always found parking on the street. Very well supplied in the kitchen area! A few things that did not make this an "excellent" stay rating: NO outlets in master bath made it difficult for everyone to get ready for the day. Master shower could use a good scrub brush with Clorox in some areas. Master bath area rug was not clean, thus not very sanitary - need to supply bath mats. Only 2 washcloths for 5 people. A few of the towels appeared worn/ragged. On arrival, we found a tin of Nicotine Patches on a nightstand so we wondered if that bedroom was cleaned? Only 1 TV for 3 families. Rest of living area appeared fresh and cleaned! If none of those things matter to you, then we would suggest you try The Suite Spot.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback — we always appreciate hearing from our guests.
I did want to clarify a few things for accuracy:
- Both bathrooms have two outlets each, including the master bath.
- The unit is fully cleaned after every stay, including bathroom rugs, and the floors are always swept and mopped. I personally reinspected the unit after reading your review and did not find any mats that were dirty or unsanitary. The master bath rug has a patterned, textured design, which may look different when damp.
- We sanitize all nightstands and surfaces between stays, though I’m sorry if any item was overlooked — that’s not our standard.
- For towels, there are 7–8 washcloths stocked in the hallway linen closet. A quick message to us would’ve helped you locate these, and we would have gladly brought additional linens if needed.
We also didn’t receive any communication from you during your stay about any of these concerns. Had we known, we would have taken care of everything immediately — it’s extremely important to us that every guest has a smooth, 5-star experience, and we’re always available to help within minutes.
We still appreciate the feedback and will continue striving to elevate the experience for all future guests.
Safe travels ahead!
The space was comfortable and well laid out - primary bedroom suite was really nice and secluded from the living area. Didn’t know much about Pilsen but we found it to be really close to a lot of great areas (China Town, Greek Town, West Loop). Pilsen has some unique places as well. Chocolate Uzma is highly recommended. We never felt out of place or unsafe. Parking close to the entrance was always available. Getting to the L is about a 20 minute walk. Might be too long for some. The host was very responsive - even on Christmas Day.

Thanks so much for the kind and thoughtful review! We’re really glad you enjoyed the space—especially the primary suite—and got to explore a bit of Pilsen and the nearby neighborhoods. Uzma’s chocolate is definitely a favorite of ours too! So happy to hear parking was easy and that you felt comfortable during your stay. And of course, always happy to help—even on Christmas! We'd love to have you back anytime you're in town.
One of the most rewarding parts of hosting is creating a space where guests can truly feel at home—whether they’re here for a work assignment, a life transition, or just a well-deserved change of scenery. We’ve carefully designed this home to support real life on the road, blending comfort, functionality, and a touch of luxury for an elevated stay.
As parents of young kids, we deeply understand the needs of traveling families. From extra linens and spacious bedrooms to a quiet, restful atmosphere and a full kitchen for meals on your own schedule, our goal is to make family travel less stressful and more enjoyable. We’ve been there—and we know how valuable it is to have a reliable, welcoming place to land after a long day.
We also both work remotely, so we’ve outfitted the space with what we look for when we travel: high-speed Wi-Fi, multiple dedicated work-from-home areas, smart TVs, and reliable coffee setups to power through your workday. Whether you're logging in for meetings, juggling deadlines, or just want a productive corner to work from, this home was built with modern professionals in mind.
When we’re not hosting or working, we love exploring all that Chicago has to offer—checking out the city’s vibrant restaurant and bar scene, catching live music or comedy shows, and cheering on the Bulls, White Sox, and Bears when we can. It’s a city we love deeply and are always excited to share with others.
We’re just a message away throughout your stay, and we’re happy to offer recommendations or support however we can. Hospitality is something we take pride in, and we hope you’ll feel that from the moment you arrive.
Why they chose this property
One of the things I love most about this neighborhood is how effortlessly it blends energy, charm, and convenience. Tucked between East Pilsen and University Village, this area is incredibly walkable, full of personality, and ideal for both short and extended stays. Just a few blocks from the condo, you’ll find an amazing variety of coffee shops, brunch spots, and some of Chicago’s most talked-about restaurants.
Some of our local favorites include: • Kristoffer’s Café – cozy spot for coffee, pastries, and breakfast • Pilsen Yards – vibrant atmosphere with great cocktails and Mexican-inspired dishes • Pleasant House Pub – British-style pub known for savory pies and craft beer • Yolinda’s Tamales – a no-frills gem serving handmade tamales • HaiSous – Michelin-starred Vietnamese cuisine with bold, beautiful flavors • Thalia Hall – historic venue for live music, comedy, and unforgettable performances
The neighborhood strikes a great balance—close enough to downtown for quick access, but far enough to enjoy a relaxed, residential feel. You’re just minutes from the West Loop, Chinatown, McCormick Place, and the lakefront. The area is also a hub for medical professionals and students, with UIC, Rush, and other major campuses nearby.
Transportation is another big plus. The CTA Pink Line, bus routes, and bike-friendly streets make getting around easy. Lake Michigan and the scenic lakefront trail are just a 10-minute bike ride away—perfect for outdoor lovers and commuters alike.
This location is effortlessly livable. Great food, vibrant culture, strong community vibes, and unbeatable access to the best of Chicago. I’m always excited to share this space with guests looking for a stylish, central, and welcoming home base.
What makes this property unique
This isn’t just another rental—it’s a thoughtfully designed space that combines comfort, functionality, and style in one of Chicago’s most connected neighborhoods. Here’s what sets it apart:

Fully Equipped Chef’s Kitchen: Stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, and every cooking essential you could need—whether you're whipping up a quick breakfast or hosting a dinner in.
Work-From-Home Ready: Multiple dedicated workspaces and high-speed Wi-Fi make it ideal for remote work, video calls, and business travelers needing reliable connectivity.
Smart Features Throughout: Smart TVs in every bedroom and the living room mean you can relax your way—streaming, gaming, or catching up on news.
EV-Friendly & Secure Parking: Rare in the city, guests enjoy a private garage with a 240V EV charger, included free with your stay. (Upon request)
Comfortable for Groups: Spacious layout with three large bedrooms, plush bedding, and ample storage—perfect for families, coworkers, or groups of friends.
Central Location with a Local Feel: Minutes to downtown, McCormick Place, UIC, and major hospitals—yet tucked into a vibrant, residential street with amazing local food and walkability.
It’s a space built for more than just sleep—it’s made to live, work, recharge, and explore in comfort and style. Whether you’re here for a few weeks or a few months, you’ll quickly feel right at home.
