Great little cabin. Perfect location for exploring Yellowstone and has all the basics. The only thing missing would be a wood stove or fireplace, but I can understand why this would be a big ask, given its basement location.
Great hosts and location! Right next to the trail out of town, which was very helpful given the warm spring conditions, didn't have to ride down dirt or pavement to get out of town. Weather was a bit warmer than I would have liked, but can't control that.

Simple rustic amenities. Has everything you need. Very nice owners. Would stay there again
Cooke City is a beautiful, quaint little mountain town. Limited restaurants, but they are good. Fox Den cabin was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is that is it quite small. There are beds for 5, but it felt crowded with just 2 people. Hosts were extremely helpful and quick to respond to messages.

Very adequate cabin. Good proximity to the park. kitchen faucet sprayer was faulty. Bathroom door situation with vent fan situation was a little wonky, and water heater was really noisy. Also, would be nice to have a deck/porch to enjoy time in the sun. Walking downstairs to a dark, unfinished entry was a little creepy. Beds were comfortable, and kitchen had adequate ability to do limited cooking, etc.
Cute, quaint mining town with friendly people, a great historical museum, and a great place to stop as a mid point - take a drive through Beartooth Hey to Red Lodge and then on another day checkout and go to Cody, Wy- East side of Yellowstone
