Amazing mountain getaway! Such beautiful views and we even had a full moon over the river. The fishing was exceptional. We will be back again soon! 5 stars!
We loved our stay at Laura’s and Delon’s house on the Tennessee river. The view was so beautiful and the house was very clean and comfortable. Plenty to do on property and in the Chattanooga. They are the best hosts! Thanks again for a wonderful stay! Best, Joe and Barbara (and Henry)
Hosts were welcoming! Exteremly helpful and went above and beyond for us. Host directed us to Snoopers RockWhat a breathing taking experience. Thank you Delon and Laura!
We had a great stay here. This was a great location, perfect by the river, and our hosts were very accommodating overall. They were very flexible with our check in and check out and were very helpful and friendly. We would stay here again!
Laura and Delon were extremely friendly. The house seemed to have more room than what I was expecting from the pictures. We traveled up from Florida with our 3 sons and 2 dogs to spend the Christmas week in the mountains. The boys enjoyed fishing and kayaking down at the river. The house has a rustic comfort to it. We enjoyed the week relaxing. Delon gave us great recommendations on places near by to go do including restaurants and hiking trails.
We had 4 generations of family stay and it was the best vacation yet. The house was clean and had everything you need to stay away from home..The host were so nice and accommodating... Views were outstanding!!
Enjoyed our stay at the river house. Beautiful views, and loved the nostalgic river house. Wonderfully appointed, and loved just hanging out on the balcony taking in the views.
Amazing property! If you are looking for a river house search no more. This house is on a stretch of the Tennessee river that is unmatched. Nestled in between two large foothills and is glass smooth most of the time. The house itself is wonderful. The owners actually live right next door and are very responsive to anything we needed. Would highly recommend this property!
The house is amazing with such a peaceful ambiance. Plenty of things to keep you occupied on rainy days, puzzles, games, as well as sitting on the deck and watching the rain dance on the river. Our dog also throughly enjoyed her stay and the property is perfect for pets. Delon and Laura are awesome hosts with a wealth of local information. Thank you for a great place to stay and awesome grounds.
Our family had a great time at the Tennessee River House! The property is a gem and the property owners are not only great hosts they are even better people. I HIGHLY recommend that anyone looking for a fun and relaxing vacation to consider this beautiful property.
Upon arrival the host helped us orient to the home and provided resources for attractions in the area. She was receptive to communication and the place was great for our pups.
The bad: There are several dogs who will rush you on property. This was an issue for me as I have dogs. Owner did not keep their dogs on leashes or on their property even after knowing it was an issue It was also not disclosed there were dogs. I was prevented from leaving the home a a few times blocked by the dogs. The property does not have central air and that was not disclosed. Loud widow units . It’s also super humid and damp. It was hard to breathe and the unit smelled musty and there should be a mold test done. I had to empty the dehumidifier 2x a day and the lowest it got was 64. Most of the time it was in the 80s. Super thick air. One window ac unit did not have a compatible plug in. Beds were pretty low to mid grade comfort for the price. This was quite honestly a horrible stay. The good- owners were great communicators. (in the beginning), until the dog situation. The property was very unique. They let me do contactless check in. I was able to do a last minute booking. The had washing machine detergent. It looked as if you could canoe or maybe fish , but we did not do any of that. Front yard was fully fenced and easy for dogs to potty. Location is close to everything (Walmart , Starbucks ). Overall it was a rough stay. The non disclosure of the dogs and lack of ac and dampness / humidity was a struggle . Owners did a good job w decor and communication overall. I hope they can take this as constructive criticism and make some health and safety changes.
