CUTE 1962 RV with huge screened in gazebo ~1 mile from winery
This 1962 Vintage Avion (The Pink Lady) sits on a 2.5 acres off Lake Buchanan. It's so peaceful w/ tons of big trees for shade & privacy. We just added a BEAUTIFUL screened in 16ft by 10 ft gazebo with a mini fridge, outdoor speakers, a fan and lights. We also added a cover to The Pink lady with a few ceiling fans for your enjoyment. Lots of things to do onsite (play games, enjoy hammocks, ride bikes, grill, enjoy campfires, etc.). Or there are places to go for outings 5 minutes away (sand lake entry parks, fish, swim, cedar rec area, winery, food truck, etc.). Fond memories are ready to be made at this unforgettable location. Life is good at Hill Country Lake Escape...come and see! Neighborhood description: We are located 1.2 miles before Fall Creek Vineyards in Tow, Texas. This property is very quiet and open. When lake levels allow guests may fish from property and/or enter the lake at their own risk. If desired there is a boat ramp and 5 parks (4 are beach entry) 6 minutes away for only $5 total per day. There is a food truck (Binnie Boys) that will deliver for $5! It’s amazing food! We have 2 exterior cameras monitoring the perimeter of the 2.5 acres of property. This camera is far away from the rental and does not interfere with guests complete privacy.

If you are looking for a quiet getaway with easy access to the lake or the winery, this is the place. Its not fancy, but it is nice and easy. We had a great time grilling and hanging out enjoying the evening.

Thank you so much for your kind words. We are glad you enjoyed your stay. You worded it perfectly. It is always heard to explain we have everything you need for modern conveniences but it is not fancy 😀. We enjoy offering the experience of a 1962 vintage unit with upgrades such as the TVs, DVD players, firepit and screened in patio and wifi 😀 You are welcome back anytime!
Communication was great from the moment I booked the Pink Lady! The decor inside and out is charming, the screened in patio was a great place to relax, loved the outdoor speaker and lights, AC worked very well, and the beds were surprisingly comfortable. I was a little anxious about things potentially going wrong in an RV... but everything was perfect. Thanks for having us!
Me and my girlfriends had such an amazing time! The camper was super cute and the AC kept us cool in the June heat! Came for my birthday and will definitely be coming back next year. The fall creek vineyard was so cute, and you gotta go check out The Slab swimming hole! 10/10 can’t wait to come again

So glad you had a great time. We would love to have you back again anytime. Thank you for your business.
There is so much to say but I think letting everyone know that we are repeat guests, speaks volumes! The communication with the everyone from the owner to the property manager is extremely over the top. They are responsive and so friendly. We love it out there and can honestly say that we feel like family! The view, the tranquility, the amenities and the surrounding places make this getaway feel like home. I have recommended to so many that this is the place to go when you want to get away!

Awe what a sweet review! We have enjoyed yall each and every time you visit. I’m so glad you feel our home away from home is your second home. You are welcome anytime! Thank you so much again for your kind words.
We had a great time! It was hot but the big fan in the screened porch was awesome! Loved the retro feel and just a short drive to water stuff. We were laughing about how on Earth anyone could lock themselves out, but then we did it. Keep your keys on you if you go outside. Lori came right over and let us back in. Overall great experience.

Spring Break 2023
The trailer was very cute and clean. However, the location is misleading. The lot is not secluded, close to a major road, and surrounded by other not well kept residences. The lake is also dried up. It is located an hour from Colorado Bend State Park and Inks Lake State Park.
A good opportunity to try out how you feel about camping. Have plans for a daytime get away and enjoy the evening around a campfire 🔥. You don’t want to be closed up in camper for extended periods, it is small. Great sleeping arrangements. Catherine is a fabulous host and a very friendly lady. The neighborhood is also very friendly, quiet and quaint. Deer sleep in the neighborhood. Was a fabulous weekend for 3 of us.
We stayed one night, perfect for 2-3 people. Interior is cute and pink! Not as secluded as I thought but wasn’t an issue, lots of spiders but it was expected and we came prepared. Wasn’t able to use the cute pink coffee maker, only downside of the stay. We used the fire pit for hot dogs, wood and sticks were gathered waiting for us, forgot charcoal fluid but was still able to get it going. Lots of outside seating, table, lights and grill. We enjoyed our stay!

Hi Sunmer! I’m so sorry you didn’t have time during your stay to use the pink coffee maker. It is cute isn’t it? 😊 We hope you can come join us after the gazebo area is all dolled up! That addition is complete now and an entire cover is underway as I type! We had the gazebo double layered with netting 😂😊. We definitely don’t like bugs of any shape or size: ha ha However, as you said, since we’re at the lake it’s impossible to not have any. We’ve definitely asked our pest guy if we have any options to have zero bugs and he says there’s nothing we can do on top of what we are already doing ☺️. Funny story -our contractor actually laughed at us when we bought the property and gave him 50 things of caulk for our rentals out there. We said “Please submarine proof these places. Zero bugs!” 🤣🤣🤣. Thanks again for your business and kind words about The Pink Lady.

About the host
Hosted by Catherine Workman
Our Story Catherine and her husband met in North Carolina almost 2 decades ago and moved to Texas in 2007. They have 1 daughter in college, a son starting middle school, 1 maine coon cat, and a Great Dane mix puppy. They love to frequent Hill Country Lake Escape (HCLE) to play and work as often as their schedules allow. Catherine enjoyed going to college for Psychology, however, loved her event planning and mentoring positions the most. She continues to use what she learned to effectively manage the property and is a super accommodating host. Her husband spends a lot of time adding amazing amenities to the property and is a huge part of HCLE’s success. These individual skills allow the owners to put their minds together and come up with ideas that will help Hill Country Lake Escape grow and be more inviting and accommodating. They are always open to feedback and love to hear from their customers. It is their desire to always exceed expectations and that is why year after year they continue to make their properties better and better. The idea for the property stemmed from their love of being in nature adventuring, while glamping and creating the priceless memories they have. One comment Catherine made was she wished they had started RV’ing well before 15 years into their marriage. Their goal is to provide a beautiful and relaxing place people will want to visit often to create those memories that will last a lifetime. With the hustle and bustle of everyday life they continue to work hard to be sure and create a beautiful, quiet, safe, fishing village we can all escape to and enjoy!
