Silver Queen Guesthouse is comfort, convenience & charm rolled up in one. Our pet & child-friendly townhome offers an ideal `in town` location. Just 2 blocks to the grocery store, and free ski resort bus stop; 1 block to main town park & a short walk to downtown; minutes to free nordic trails, hiking & biking trails, parks. Leave your car parked & walk your entire visit! Close to everything but out of the hustle & bustle of downtown. Kitchen is fully equipped. Great Wifi! Perfect for families & long stays.
Our townhome is comfortable, clean, new and fresh. High-end finishes, new furniture, new towels, and linens give it a refined but relaxed feeling. On the first floor, you`re welcomed with a spacious entryway that is supplied with lots of hooks for hanging jackets, backpacks, walking sticks, etc. There are 2 bedrooms, a full bathroom, the washer/dryer, and a mechanical closet that is perfect for drying out ski boots and ski clothing. These first floor bedrooms each have a new, comfortable queen beds. The bathroom is equipped with a huge tub that is perfect for a hot after hiking, mountain biking or a day on the slopes!
The Silver Queen Guesthouse is ideally located on the edge of town. It`s across the street from the school. It`s close to everything but away from the noise and busyness of downtown. There are 3 parks within a few blocks, 1 block from the grocery store, free bus stop to the ski area, and minutes walk to Elk Ave where all the restaurants and shops are. It`s perfectly located 1 block from the main town park where the summer Alpenglow concerts are held. You can hear the music from the deck if you choose not to walk up to the concert. In the winter, you can walk to the free Nordic trails behind the school.
Our street is the first you can turn on as you enter the town limits and see the welcome to Crested Butte sign. You`ll turn at the `chrome dragon and knight` landmark. The makes it so easy and quick to get to. You can then park your car for the week if you`d like. In the summer, we provide `townie` bikes for you to get around on and the free local bus stop is just across the park at Clark`s parking lot. This will take you to the mountain or downtown. The RTA bus stop is also just a few minutes walk to the 4way stop. The RTA takes you to Gunnison and back.
House configuration:
On the middle floor, you`ll find the kitchen, living, dining areas. The open floor plan allows for great communication with everyone. There are many east facing windows that allow the sun to shine in, making it bright, sunny and cozy, and offering amazing views of Mt Crested Butte. The north facing deck is accessed from this floor. It has a grill and offers a nice place for an afternoon or evening drink in the summer. The oversized couch is a comfy spot for watching a movie or taking a nap.
The spacious master bedroom is located on the third floor. It has a king size bed, a twin bed with a trundle and ensuite bathroom. There is a steam shower in the master bathroom. Being on the third floor, the master is close to everything but can offer a private getaway when needed.

Bedroom #2: First floor - 1 Queen
Bedroom #3: First Floor - 1 Queen
Our bed configuration offers a tremendous amount of flexibility for various sleeping arrangements to accommodate many scenarios...1 to 3 couples, 1 to 3 families, a large family, extended family, groups of friends!
We have two other another rentals very close by: The Red Lady Guesthouse at 729 Red Lady, the south side of this townhouse and the Jokerville Guesthouse, 717 Red Lady, which is 3 doors down on the same block. They both have very similar layouts. This allows for a large groups to be in very close proximity to each other. Great for weddings, family reunions, company parties, special events, etc.
There is a Pack & Play crib with mattress & sheets, high chair, stroller/backpack combo available upon request.
We provide townie bikes for your use during your stay. This offers a convenient way to get to the grocery store or downtown.
Other things to note:
PETS: 1 -2 Dogs are welcome with a $295. Please indicate when you book and fee will be applied. Otherwise can be paid to Sarah. Due to allergies, cats are not permitted. Excessive barking, any scratching or on-furniture lounging will not be allowed. Damages caused by pets will be taken out of the damage deposit.
Parking is very limited in the winter months, so please minimize your number of vehicles.
Monthly rentals are welcome; discounted rates offered for a month or longer rentals.
