Ripple was super easy to communicate with and the whole stay from booking to check-out was easy. The Nest is so cozy and the creative vibes made our trip to St. Louis all the better.
The house is absolutely lovely and spacious! The location is also great and near a lot of yummy coffee shops and restaurants. Would definitely stay here again!
The Nest is a super cute place! Everything was clean, beds were comfy, host is super responsive and helpful. Beautiful inner city neighborhood close to Benton Park. I'll definitely keep this place in mind the next time I want to spend a weekend in St. Louis.
Very nice house with interesting decor and artwork. Even had a pack and play for our toddler. Location is amazing. Close to everything. Very easy check in process and very nice and responsive host. Definitely recommend!
First impressions were that someone lives there. Was kind of creepy knowing that whoever lives in the trailer also has access to house. Basement etc. otherwise stay was good. Property needs curb appeal. Cleaned up mowed etc.

thanks for reviewing us Gretchen! glad your stay was good. the front yard is a work in progress! we were interrupted by some health issues from the heat this summer but we'll finish her up before the season closes out. its clear from the listing that i use the basement on occasion and never enter the guest's space.
The house worked out great for our group! the price was perfect and the layout of the house allowed us to enjoy ourselves. Check in and check out were a breeze. We had a fuse issue and lights weren’t working in one room and the owner took care of it immediately. I would definitely stay here again.
The Nest was the perfect spot for our family of four. It was centrally located near the St Louis Zoo, Aquarium, and the Arch all the places we visited while we were in St. Louis. The Nest was the perfect, quite, place to come back to after a long day of sight seeing. Our hosts were very gracious and kind. We highly recommend staying at the Nest when you visit St. Louis. Thank you for the lovely stay.
Pretty clean inside. Close to the arch and enterprise center and Busch stadium. Pulling up to the property was a bit scary. Outside not kept well and just across the street are spray painted signs about dead cops. Wasn’t sure what we were walking into. Lots of witchy things inside and odd art work around. Owner is on the property as well in a camper and sometimes goes into the basement but doesn’t bother you. Probably wouldn’t have stayed if I’d known that before a couple days before our trip. Not a terrible place but probably wouldn’t return.

Hey Beth! Since we are in the city there is sometimes graffiti on the building across the street but its usually taken care of within a week. We have made a lot of progress on the front yard since you stayed as we are building an enclosed front patio for guests there, but I was sick over the summer and which interrupted my tending of the landscaping. Thankfully these things are now resolved! We do love our witchy things and odd artwork hehe. Sorry that wasn't a fit for you, but I'm glad you still had a good stay given all of these factors. It is clearly on the listing that I use the basement from time to time. Glad you didn't feel disturbed by me! I'm quite intentional about giving guests space. Thanks again for your review. <3
My family of five including three kids age 6 - 12 visited for a spring break trip to STL. This home was full of character, calm & comfortable, and convenient to the sights of the city. We felt at home and appreciated the parking right in front of the house.
Very nice and spacious property. Beautiful hardwood floors. Eclectic artwork. This is more of an adult home. The 3 bathrooms were nice to have. Shaded back yard with seating. Close to restaurants and activities. Overall I would stay again.

The property was very clean! It was also located in a convenient location, hence why we chose the property. The Owner was very nice and easy to communicate with. He gave clear instructions on how to check out of the house and also let me know on how to check in as well. The rooms were comfortable and homy, which my group loved so much!
This place was perfect to host turkey dinner for my family. It was important to be under one roof for this holiday and after being cancelled at the last minute by two other properties, this host was a prayer answered. Location is great and the home is cozy and warm. The pictures don’t do the place justice. It’s much more cool in person. We had everything we needed and more.
Thanks again
The place was fine as far as accommodations and location near the Arch. The hosts do their jobs just fine. If your party is all adults, you should have no issues. However, if you are bringing kids, you should know this probably isn't the place for you. There are pornographic pictures in virtually every room. In the room my daughters stayed in, there was a pornographic picture in their bathroom right next to the light switch involving two men. Also, the lawn was out of control, which made it seem a little less safe. In summary, for adults, this is a good place to stay. With kids, I'd probably try a different option.

Hey Russell! We have changed the artwork to remove all nudity. We were originally catering to adults specifically but since we have so many families stay here we have changed the decor. Thanks for this feedback!

Uncomfortably homey
It is homey and spacious however the homey part was a bit too homey. Too many personal items giving the vibe that you are staying in a home that’s very much lived in by the owners. Clothes stored visibly under the bed. We found two different unidentifiable pills laying about on a window ledge and on a book shelf. The upstairs bedrooms were hot and stuffy with just a window unit in the hallway and a couple of fans available. Beds are uncomfortable. The patio area didn’t feel available since the owners have parked their camper right in the middle and not in the back as in photo shown. The property has miscellaneous junk on it and the grass was very tall and overgrown on the property. No communication about check in until after I messaged my concerns the very night before I was to arrive. If you don’t mind feeling like you are living in somebody’s personal space while they stay in campers on site then this place will be alright for you. It was pretty clean with a nice kitchen besides not having enough toilet paper provided. The location is close to all the attractions and Cherokee street is near and really fun.

Hey Amanda Thanks so much for your honest review about your experience. We really apologize for neglecting to give you the check-in information. That was an oversight on our part as were up to our ears in the middle of a big landscaping project (which also was why the lawn was unkempt). I'm also sorry that you felt the space was uncomfortably homey. We do utilize some of the storage in the home (some coats and clothes under the master bed), but its not a primary living space for anyone and we have taken your feedback into consideration in our future cleaning efforts for guests. We have also upgraded all of the bedrooms with dedicated a/c units to address your concern about the upstair being hot and stuffy. And while we have changed the layout of the backyard, its still available for use. I do stay onsite in the backyard as mentioned in the listing so thanks for highlighting that for future guests! So glad you enjoyed Cherokee Street! We welcome you back if you are in the area!
