The house was cozy, comfortable and thoughtfully stocked to be sure all needs were met. Everything was very clean and neat. The host was lovely, communicative and helpful with any issues that arose. It was a cozy stay for my family and I while we were having some home renovations completed.
We enjoyed our 4 night stay at this 2 bedroom apartment. It’s nicely decorated and on a quiet cul-de-sac with an occasional train whistle in the distance. The LR is exceptionally comfortable with 2 leather sofas with recliners for 4 people. Kari is a super host and always available with a quick response. Thank you Kari for creating a comfortable space to rent.
A beautifully appointed home in a quiet neighborhood. Convenient to stores, railroad, major roads and a variety of classic Long Island cuisine. Everything was very clean and just where you would "expect" it to be. The kitchen was wonderfully equipped, if you like to cook while you're away. This would be a perfect place for a business person to stay when they are tired of staying in hotels. Two supermarkets are just a few minutes away. Greek, pizza, bagels, deli within a few minutes. You will love it!
Very clean with every amenity you could need in a house
My high school age son and I stayed in this property for 3 nights as we were traveling for a lax tournament hosted by Stonybrook.
First, the communication with the property owner was excellent. She was incredibly responsive and provided all the info I needed in plenty of time beforehand.
Entering the house was very easy with the push combo house lock. Very easy to control.
The home was very clean and had every amenity I needed to cook and do laundry all weekend.
Overall, excellent property that I was very happy with.
The only 'negative' I would highlight is the neighborhood; overall, it appears to be a safe neighborhood, its just the street was very busy with cars everywhere and the house next door to the right seems to be a bit of a party house. They have a bar outback and one of the 3 nights we stayed at this property, they had a party going in the back with people and music going. Nothing too wild and crazy, but it wasn't silent either.
Again, the property itself is excellent; I would say the street could be the wildcard factor. Overall I was still very happy with my stay and would book again.
