Tranquil Lake Cottage

This beautiful decorated cottage is perfect for a family or group. There is lots of indoor and outdoor seating to enjoy the view of the lake and watching the bald eagles soar any time of the year. This location is close to Indiana Beach Amusement Park, Wineries, Stores, Restaurants and parks.
The space
With an open floor plan and 12 ft butcher block island this cottage is perfect for entertaining. There is a fully stocked kitchen and high end appliances to make you feel right at home. There is plenty of seating in the Family room to watch Tv or read by the wood burning stove. There is an expansive deck overlooking the lake and a deck above the boat lift down by the water to enjoy the sun, fishing or jumping off into the water. This place has a cozy feel that will make it hard to leave.
Guest access
You will have Access to the entire main floor of this cottage. There is a basement but it is not finished and not intended for guests.
Other things to note
We have a full variety of life jackets, floats and water mat for guests to use free of charge. We have a rule of any child under 14 must wear a life jacket in the water due to the depth of the lake off our dock.
Our prices include all fees. No hidden fees.

A Home for Purdue Family Weekend

This home is 35 minutes away from Purdue but was a great option for a couple of parents to see their kids for the weekend and take a break from West Lafayette. The home was very nice!

A great place for a family get together.

The place was gorgeous! Everything was clean when we got there and left it the same way! All the neighbors were extremely friendly! Fishing was great we brought home over 100 fish just off the dock and another 100 from the boat we brought. Water was great best vacation we’ve had!

Fantastic Property!

My family had a terrific stay at this property! The home is amazing! It is so beautiful yet so comfortable. It has everything needed for a wonderful vacation. The outside has so many different areas to relax and enjoy the awesome views of the lake. The host was very accommodating and so easy to communicate with. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this fantastic property!

We loved staying at this beautifully updated home. Everything was clean. The kitchen was well equipped, and the living room and bedrooms very comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed the outdoors area as well. It was a treat to be able use the kayak and paddle-board right from the dock in the backyard—and there were so many seating areas outside to enjoy!Our young adult children loved having a sleepover in the room with the 2 double bunk beds. The location was perfect for us as it was a pretty easy 30 minute drive on country roads to and from Purdue University. We were able to attend an event near campus with our college student AND have a mini-vacation where we were able to enjoy lake living. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

70th Wedding Anniversary

My Aunt and Uncle celebrated their 70th Wedding Anniversary in nearby Lafayette so we decided to rent this lake house for our immediate family for a mini vacation. We couldn't have been more pleased....the property is beautiful, the lake house so inviting & comfortable and the owners couldn't have made us feel more 'at home' helping us with where to shop, finding local attractions & restaurants...they were just super! We definitely will return when the next family reunion is held. Our entire family strongly recommends....you won't be disappointed!

lake house family vacation

We had never done this so we didn't know what to expect. Myself and husband three adult kids (2 with spouses) and six grandkids. We arrived at the house and it was beautiful!! We weren't sure what to expect with kids on the lake with no beach, but with all the life jackets and toys the house provided we couldn't get the kids out of the water. This house is beautiful, well kept, and has everything you need to have a great vacation without even leaving the driveway. I highly recommend staying here. My family is already talking saying they want to go back!
