About the host

I grew up in Haywood County and have spent most of my life here. Although I lived in San Antonio for twenty years, I could never get these mountains out of my blood and eventually found my way back home. I come from a large family with seven siblings and I’ve truly enjoyed being back home close to them again.
I enjoy hiking, camping, restoring old homes and listening to good music-all of the simple things that make mountain life special.

Why they chose this property

The things I find most inviting about the neighborhood are its small-town charm and the easy access to downtown Waynesville; whether you choose to take a short drive or enjoy a pleasant walk to Main Street.

What makes this property unique

The things I enjoy most about this property are the historic details and timeless charm throughout the home-the high ceilings, original woodwork, beadboard walls and the inviting front porch surrounded by trees. I also love the easy walk to downtown Waynesville, where you can enjoy local shops, restaurants and breweries; while still being tucked away in a peaceful, private setting surrounded by nature.
