About this property

New Custom Home w/Pool & Ocean View - in town & 3 minute walk to the beach!

Location-Location-Location!

Casa Panga (named after the colorful fishing boats, "pangas" you can see from the house bobbing in the bay). The name of the house is also a tribute to the history of San Juan and this area of town, the south side (near the port) where they still catch unload and sell fish today. The port is also where cruise ships disembark, and where those who want to enjoy a sunset catamaran trip will depart from, this is just a few minutes from the house. For our surfing guests, just wake up and look out at which way the pangas are pointing to see if it is onshore or offshore.

A true gem of a location as you can walk everywhere. Shuttles to beaches and taxis are cheap but for the more adventurous you can rent ATVs or motorcycles. We also have a couple of SUVs for rent if you so desire.

Casa Panga is a brand new, custom home, designed for groups to have plenty of space to come together and also many comfy spaces to relax in solitude.

One large compound with a wraparound covered porch with a large outdoor dining table and seating for 10. Cozy lounging beds for under the covered porch as well as many lounge chairs for around the pool to enjoy the sunshine.

The main home has 3 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms and the connected guest house has 1 large bedroom, private bathroom and own living and kitchen area.

First time in Nicaragua, no crime all organic foods lots of Is challenging walking very lovely people. Our stay was excellent. Would recommend. . However you must keep in mind Nicaragua is a very poor country, if your not one who makes adjustments to different environments, this may not be for you. Back to the property 5 star.

Beautiful Home in San Juan del Sur!

We trully loved our stay at Casa Panga. The house was clean and comfortable with a beautiful view of San Juan del Sur bay. Yalila was amazing, not just cooking and cleaning but her overall personality. She made my mother feel very comfortable and right at home. I would absolutely recommend this property!!

Accommodations were amazing. Beautiful view of the bay, new modern home, located close to beach and restaurants. Vanessa was a wonderful host and helped us with everything we needed. I recommend staying and will definitely stay again, if it is available on my next trip.

Great place to stay with stunning views

Can’t say enough. Everything was incredible. Vanessa is very good with communication and took care of all our needs. The house is absolutely spectacular and so is the service. Vanessa also assisted with local needs. Would highly recommend this home and Vanessa!

FANTASTIC

Casa Panga is beautiful, clean and equipped with ALL the amenities. Gorgeous view of the bay and town from the huge deck with many places to lounge. Super close to walk to town to the many shops and restaurants but far enough away from the hustle and bustle for when you just want to chill. Vanessa is an amazing host and provided instant responses for any questions we had. We 100%, without hesitation, recommend Casa Panga, and would definitely stay there again on our next trip to SJDS.

Wonderful house & great location!

Brand new gorgeous and spacious house inside and outside. Its only a 5 minute walk to downtown. The owner and everyone with the house were very attentive to our needs. She also owns Zen Yoga and we paid to have a yoga session and massages pool side at the house. It was absolutely an amazing time! Thank you for everything! We will definitely be back!

Home away from Home

We had such a lovely stay. The house was perfect for our group. Traveling with my parents and one other family. It allowed separation for my parents and the kids space to play and enjoy themselves. The Vanessa was incredible, from sitting up request for our group to having a very outlined guide book to reference for activities, dinning, and transportation. Also helped us a great deal by suggesting a local shuttle driver who we used for various trips throughout traveling in Nicaragua. This was very important as we were traveling with kids under 7yrs old. We would all go back and stay at Vanessa’s place. She was a super host!!

Home with pool and incredible view close to SJDS

Overall this house was amazing for my family. House was very clean upon arrival and there was a maid that did some cleaning. The home itself is spacious with the 4 bedrooms. We especially liked that the 4tj bedroom is its own apartment with kitchen. The real treat of this house is the amazing pool deck area with view overlooking the bay. House is roughly a 10-15 minute walk into town. While the road is paved there is a steep spot getting up the road to the house. Would need to be aware of this when driving your own car. But walking wise it’s not bad at all. I would 100% recommend this home when visiting.

New Property Close to Town

This property is amazing- there is easy access to town, which is a 5 minute walk and there are views of the beach, which make for great sunsets. Vanessa and her mom, Deborah, are incredibly attentive with excellent recommendations for anything you might want or need in the San Juan del Sur area. The house comfortably accommodates 2 families. It is brand new. Patricia and Rosa are excellent cooks. I highly recommend getting the meal plan. There is parking in the driveway if you have a car. Come! You will not regret it.

We loved everything about this house!

We loved everything about this house! -brand new beautiful home -Perfect location -easy to get to once you know where the house is -Easy to walk to everything -air conditioning in bedrooms -cleaning service daily -wifi -kitchen has everything you need: silverware, plates, cups, small kitchen appliances (coffee maker, toaster, microwave, etc.) -great pool and outdoor area with pool towels -can arrange a chef with Vanessa -can arrange transportation with Vanessa -easy communication through WhatsApp* -drinking water jug was super helpful, so you don’t need to carry tons of water bottles (as San Juan has many steep hills, although there is only 1 hill to get to this house) we still liked having some water bottles as well -owners mother lives up the hill, and we liked that we had her to contact, in case we needed anything (which we didn’t, but good for peace of mind) -looks just like the pictures -this house is not missing anything! -would stay here again!

Wonderful House!

If you were always dreaming to come to Nicaragua, Casa Panga is a perfect rental… It has a great location, with million dollar views, situated slightly higher from the main beach and the main street of the city. It is only two blocks from all the shops, restaurants and bakeries. Nearby fruit and vegetable markets, fish markets, as well as local grocery stores, make this rental an excellent choice. It is a 10-15 minute drive to some of the most beautiful beaches anywhere in the world. The house is beautiful,spacious with 4 air conditioned bedrooms (all with sea views), including a 1 bedroom apartment with a kitchenette and a fridge. One can see great sunrises and sunsets from the patio. No neighbors can see you. San Juan del Sur is also very dry and breezy, so a/c is not necessary during the day. If you are into cooking, there is a well appointed kitchen, even a filtered water faucet. The pool offers fantastic views of the boats in the harbor. It is cleaned daily. Another jewel is your host Vanessa, who is about the best host you will find (we have rented many houses all over the world). She helped us find a tour guide in Granada and a great place to swim at Lago del Apoyo (near the Masaya Volcano). She is an accomplished yoga instructor, and can arrange poolside yoga for you. She can also arrange for Rosa to cook delicious local meals for you, as well as Jalilia, who comes every day for light cleaning and laundry (included). We will be back to stay at Casa Panga!

Amazing Home/Perfect Vacation

I’m not sure I have enough kind words to accurately depict our experience at Vanessa’s homes. We rented both of her homes for 14 people for my husband’s birthday. The homes were immaculate, the staff were incredible and the location was perfection. The homes were well equipped with everything we needed, and Vanessa stocked the bar for us upon request. The staff cooked the most delicious meals and cleaned the property daily. It felt like we were in a very exclusive all-inclusive resort. Vanessa had a vendor for everything. Her transportation guy helped us plan our trip around Nicaragua, she’s got a surf instructor contact and her recommendations for everything else were perfect. Her mother lives on the property and handled any request we had which weren’t many because we had everything we could ever want. I’m so genuinely impressed with how well managed this home was. They’re exceptional hosts. Also, Vanessa sent up massage therapists from her studio to help us relax further. The neighborhood is a mix of beautiful homes and humble locals. You are in the mix of San Juan del Sur, so you won’t feel as if you’re missing out on the culture. The barking dogs and roosters only lent to experience. I’d suggest bringing some ear plugs or a sound machine, so that the little noise will be easily drowned out. We walked everywhere from the houses without a problem. I could go on forever. We already miss the homes and plan to return.
