CABIN 15 Cozy Rustic-Luxury A-FRAME w/ Kitchen

The Ponderosa Cabins, est.1939, offer their own kitchenettes, clean and well-appointed cabins for guests to enjoy the best of Glenwood Springs, with downtown being less than a 5-minute drive. Near the Glenwood Adventure Park and Hot Springs, amongst 17 total cabins on a 2-acre property, this location will soon be a destination for Western-style weddings, and large family retreats (coming soon!).

*This is NOT a pet-friendly cabin! Please check with us for pet-friendly cabins! This awesome cabin has been remodeled and has a fresh twist on an old cabin. We call our style "Rustic Luxury". There is a small kitchen, full gas stove/oven with cooking essentials, small refrigerator, coffee maker and coffee/tea, plates, cups and bowls for TWO, and a small dining area on a refurbished piano top! Also, Wi-Fi, cable TV, and A/C. There is a full bathroom with a bathtub.

We are available any time need arises- just give us a call! Emergency numbers are posted in the cabins. There is also a full-time on-site manager in Cabin 16 if you need immediate assistance.

There is an on-site coin laundry in the center of the property (the A-Frame cabin laundry entrance is facing Hwy 6). Also, there is a dumpster in the center of the property if you need to dump additional garbage. Please make sure it is secured so no bears can access the dumpster.

Please clean any dishes used, and the stove/oven if used during your stay.

If you damage the cabin (including INDOOR SMOKING OF ANY TYPE- VAPE, MARIJUANA, CIGARETTES, ETC.), you may be charged $250 a minimum or more, or the actual cost of repairs/replacement of damaged property. There are OUTDOOR SMOKING AREAS ONLY AT EACH LOCATION.

Some spaces are shared -these Vacation Rentals are all located within a 2-acre property that has other private tenants. Please be respectful of your neighbors, and keep noise to a minimum after 10 pm.

The Ponderosa Cabins are spread out over 2 acres, right off of Highway 6 (parallel to I-70) in West Glenwood Springs. Historic and iconic, this property feels like a little oasis in the city- and if you overlook the nearby hotels and roads, you might even feel like you are staying in a remote mountain getaway! Located about 2-3 minutes from the Iron Mountain Hot Springs Pool and Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park, 3-5 minutes to downtown Glenwood Springs, and the Glenwood Hot Springs Pool, and the Amtrack train station.

Private parking for each cabin (labeled) near the Laundry room (center of property). There is a Valley Taxi service, limited Uber/Lyft options, and a local bus that has a stop nearby (called "Ride Glenwood").

The thermostat to control heat is behind the TV.

If you use the stove please leave it tidy and wash all dishes used. Leave and drying rack on countertop.

ABSOLUTELY NO SMOKING ALLOWED INSIDE CABINS ($500 FINE IF VIOLATED!! This includes CANDLES, VAPES, MARIJUANA, CIGARETTES, CIGARS, INCENSE, ETC

Also, all towels, bedding, linens are to remain in the apartment at all times - towels are NOT for pool use!! If violated, we will charge $25 per towel (chlorine and minerals from the pool can destroy our towels!). You may rent towels at the Hot Springs directly.
