We stayed for 11 days. Stay was awesome. Amazing property - even better host.100% would - and am - considering staying here again. Amy the host was very welcoming and on top of things if/when they arise. Home - Large and spacious - we had 5 adults and 4 kids ages 12-7. Nice thing is that house is large enough that people can segregate to other areas and not bother one another.Property - WOW - hard to describe, but pictures do not do it justice. Pond across the drive way to fish in and have a bonfire, other side of house is directly on the Bison pasture. Free range chickens, pigs for the kids to feed. Really was an awesome place and kept our 4 kids occupied.Highly recommend the bison tour they offer and the bison meats/eggs!
We so enjoyed our stay with all the animals. The large front porch was a great place to gather and just "chill". The house met all of our needs and Amy was very responsive to all of our questions. Would stay again if in that area. Was a bit far from the RTJ courses.
Beautiful property with lots of land and big trees. Front porch to sit and enjoy the sunset and scenery. Grandkids had chickens, rooster, pig, bison and turkey to enjoy. Large home with lots of different rooms for different activities like pool, tv, games, reading area and lots of seating for meals. Wonderful time would highly recommend it for families who want to build memories with their kids, teenagers and adult children.
The spacious house has plenty of room to accommodate our large family. The house is situated on a beautiful well kept property. We enjoyed watching the bison and other animals. Fishing in the two ponds was a plus especially for the kids. The house was clean and had plenty of room for our family that came from SC for a wedding. We enjoyed the hammock (magic carpet), swing and space to allow the kids to roam. Communication and check in process was excellent. Highly recommend for a stay and if ever in Alabama again, will return. Amenities were close and Walmart delivers to the house which allowed us to get what we needed without going anywhere upon arrival after a long drive. A small grocery store is also about 7 minutes away. Thanks for the hospitality and letting us enjoy your property.
We had an amazing experience at this property. It was cozy and home like, but still big enough to get away. The views were amazing and the host was fantastic!!! 10/10. We will be booking again.

About the host
Hosted by Amy
I came to the Columbus, GA / Auburn, AL area when I was posted to Ft Benning, GA as an Engineer Officer in 2005. A few years after transitioning from the Army I was fortunately able to start a bison operation with my husband in a quiet area that is still conveniently close to both Columbus and Auburn.
I'm naturally hands off, but if guests have any questions or needs I am hands on. For instance, some guests have reached out to request a close up experience with the bison or needed to know how to turn certain lights on, and I'm happy to address both needs. Other guests have come and gone without ever reaching out for anything. Either way suits me just fine: message, call, or text me if you want. Otherwise you very well may not see or hear from me despite the fact that I live and work on the farm.
Why they chose this property
The farm is my home, but it is so beautiful and peaceful here that it feels like a vacation even when working. The bison, wildlife, and farm animals make my life interesting on a daily basis, and have brought meaning back into my life after the Army.
What makes this property unique
Whether you are looking for fun for the whole family, in town for business, or desire a serene country getaway, this property is the ideal location to get your own little bit of peace from the world.
I look forward to ensuring you enjoy the experience here as much as I do!
