The Bird House is a lovely little getaway. I highly recommend for anyone that is wanting to experience the outdoors but still have their favorite amenities! Lots of things to do and explore in the area!
The Birdhouse is a wonderful little place tucked away by the Tennessee River! Peaceful and relaxing. Spent 5 nights visiting the Chattanooga area. Great location to all things outdoors, downtown shopping & attractions in the area! 5 stars all around on communication and cleanliness! Would stay again!
Very lovely place snuggled in the woods, peaceful and quiet. Went for a relaxing getaway and got just that at the Birdhouse. Enjoyed our visit very much!
My family and I had a fantastic weekend here to reset after the holidays. The property is close to the city for restaurants and activities but set in a nice wooded location with plenty of trails/waterfalls to explore.
Was a perfect stay for me, my mother, and my sister in law. Very nice location. Comfy bed. Only complaint is there is no door to the bathroom, but luckily the cabin is split into 2 sides so you can have your friends/family go to the other side!

I'm so happy you and your family had a wonderful stay, Andi! Part of what makes The Bird House unique, in addition to being set in a private forest just 8 miles from downtown Chattanooga, is its design. I'm glad you were able to make it work for your family. Come back anytime!
Chattanooga Cottage was an absolute hidden treasure! The cottage was beautiful, cozy, and in the perfect location. It was very close to downtown, restaurants, and everything we needed during our stay. We loved that so many hiking trails were nearby, with some right behind the property. My husband has been dealing with Lyme disease, and thankfully he's doing much better. This trip gave us exactly what we needed, peace, relaxation, and quality time together. We enjoyed slowing down, exploring nature, and simply enjoying each other's company. It was the perfect place to relax and enjoy all that Chattanooga has to offer. We would definitely stay here again!
We stayed for 27 days. Great location, loved the natural setting. Suited our needs perfectly. Susanna was a great host. Checked in once a week to see if we needed anything. Not a fan of the open bathroom to bedroom concept but knew from the good description what we were getting. So we worked it out ok. Would stay here again.

Nice location outside the city. Clean. Good communication.
Very nice, quirky little cabin in a convenient location. The “2 sides” of the cabin were a little weird, we found ourselves having to go in and out, in and out, and the key system was not the greatest. But all in all, it was a cute little place that fit a getaway for 2. The owners were responsive to the one issue we had, which was a tripped breaker on the washing machine. String lights didn’t work which was a bummer.
This is a nature emersion experience, with provision for every need. Nestled in the woods with a creek flowing nearby, the Birdhouse is a modern cabin designed to offer peace, comfort and natural beauty. The kitchen is well-equipped, the bed is comfortable, and the deck is a perfect spot to sit and enjoy nature. There are acres of trails to explore on the property with other trails, creeks, waterfalls and rock hopping fun within a mile. It is also 10-15 minutes from all things Chattanooga, including restaurants, museums and all the outdoor activities the city is known for! We highly recommend!
The sleeping part of the cabin did have a smell and was a bit uncomfortable and the living room and kitchen part of the cabin wouldn't lock up butt other than that it was a wonderful cabin.

Thank you for your review James, but I would love to know more about this "smell" since the cabin is left meticulously clean for each guest. Was it the smell of a brand new cabin perhaps? And in what way was it uncomfortable? It seems every other guest has left high praise for our king size bed. Despite your notes issues, I'm glad it was a nice stay for you.
