About this property

Beautiful Mediterranean Cottage on larger estate.

Built in 2016 by an architect for his parents to retire in, this guesthouse is accessory to a larger Mediterranean home, on an acre parcel. This 1,200 s.f. cottage includes all of the best amenities, with a progression of indoor to out doors paces. The cottage shares the acre property with the main residence, however it has a separate entry and driveway, and separate yard spaces. The cottage has private access to a heated saltwater pool, and spa, which is occasionally used by the main residence. Single carport with direct access to the unit, and additional parking to 2 to 3 other vehicles. The space features an indoor/outdoor room with with an adjacent secured outdoor patio. Good views of the ocean and immediate yard.

What a wonderful stay at this beautiful cottage. Tom and Eileen were such wonderful hosts, fast to respond to any questions prior to and after booking. The cottage is beautifully decorated, super clean, very well appointed with wonderful linens and towels. A beautiful neighborhood. The outside patio was my favorite place to sit and I hated to leave. We will absolutely rent this cottage again.

I wanted to express how happy we were spending the 5 days at your beautiful cottage. We took my 87 year old mom with us and all was extremely comfortable and easy to navigate the house and pool area. We loved spending our mornings in the enclosed dining area for breakfast and dinner, late afternoons at the pool playing games and enjoying the pool and hot tub. Late evenings and bbq out back with the beautiful fire pit was the perfect ending to each evening. So comfortable and roomy. Kitchen had everything we needed. Lived that the fridge included an ice maker and water dispenser. I took morning walks around the neighborhood and took many beautiful pictures of all the beautiful plants and succulents. We have already recommended your place to many people as they have seen all my pictures and just love them.We will return. Thank you for being so quick in any communications we had.

This is one of the most superior properties we have stayed at. As good as the photos look, the actual listing is better. There is no drive-by traffic, the listing is very quiet and even though this is a cottage associated with a main house, you enjoy your privacy. Yet it is 10 minutes from the funk zone (restaurant s and stores) and the ocean. . There is a salt-water pool and a hot tub with a cabana. Both are clean and of high quality. The cottage is spacious with top end appliances. There is a lanai with a nice grill and fire pit, and an additional glass enclosed room so you can enjoy the views regardless of the temperature. The hosts are so helpful and really extended themselves to make sure we had a memorable stay. We would love to stay here again when we return to Santa Barbara.

A spotless and beautiful cottage with gorgeous views. Everything you could ever ask for including two bedrooms with comfortable beds, two full bathrooms, a fully stocked kitchen, lovely family room with fireplace, and an indoor/outdoor dining room and that's just the inside! Outdoor space features a tranquil patio with a fire pit and privacy. Just a few steps away enjoy a heated saltwater pool and hot tub. This was such a beautiful, comfortable and relaxing place to stay. It is even better than the pictures! It was fantastic to sit out on the patio terrace in the morning and evening. Superb stay

Tom and Eileen’s cottage is beautifully designed and appointed. Only the highest quality products provided for our use and enjoyment. Fully equipped and supplied. The pool was a treat and perfect temperature. We did not use the spa but are sure it also is perfect. Hosts excellent and gracious communicators and always prompt to respond to any questions. Highly recommend!

Comfortable, except for some minor maintenance issues. Bedroom #2 has only a small screened window and was not ensuite at the time of our visit. During our stay we emailed the owner with a question and it was 72 hours before they got back to us. Workers were in the pool area daily during our stay.

Wonderful Santa Barbara Vacation!

What a lovely cottage! My family enjoyed our stay in this peaceful Santa Barbara guest cottage so much. Close proximity to all that SB has to offer and the bonus of a pool and jacuzzi for when you want to be lazy and stay in. The owners were great communicators and the accommodations were lovely. Wonderful accommodations exactly as advertised. Spent five nights there with my three sisters and enjoyed every second. Beautiful sunsets, hot tub, swimming pool, wonderfully comfortable beds. Everything we needed for a wonderful place to start and finish our days.
