Lovely cabin with everything you need to cook. Very cozy, with beautiful forest views. Perfectly situated between downtown Marshall and Weaverville and only 30 minutes from Asheville.
We loved this cozy, mountaintop cabin. Close enough to Asheville, but far enough away for peace and quiet. Jenny and Freddy were very accommodating hosts. Would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend!
I took my husband here for a birthday surprise and it was such a cute and relaxing cabin! The cabin was beautiful and we really enjoyed the record player! Marshall, NC also has a lovely historic downtown with cute shops and places to eat. This was a great place to stay and we’ll definitely be back! P.S. I would highly recommend getting the scones the host offers!
We took our six month old on his first trip to western NC and all had a blast! The cabin is beautiful and is situated in close proximity to hiking, fishing, and the Asheville brewery scene. Marshall’s wonderful Main Street is only minutes down the road. Would definitely recommend!
We really enjoyed our stay here! The cabin was spotless and extraordinarily well appointed. The bed was very comfortable. We enjoyed the fire place on cool mornings and the porch swing and upstairs porch were great for sitting and sipping coffee. Our hosts were so kind and helpful! They were very easy to communicate with and I would highly recommend trying some of their delicious scones! As the listing states, the driveway is steep and not for vehicles without all or four wheel drive. I had no issue with my truck, but if you don't have a capable vehicle, don't let it deter you. The walk from the hosts alternative parking to the cabin is quite short. The cabin is close to Marshall and Asheville if you're looking to explore.

What makes this property unique
The quaint town of Marshall, the county seat of Madison County, is nestled between mountain cliffs and the banks of the French Broad River, just 20 miles north of Asheville. Known as the town that is "one street wide and a mile long," Marshall’s Main Street is lined with original buildings including the 100-year-old Madison County Courthouse, as well as art galleries, music and dance venues, an old-time general store, shops with unique home decor and gifts, restaurants with local produce, and coffee and pastry shops. A quick walk or drive over the river takes you to Blannahassett Island, where you’ll find the historic brick school house which now serves as Marshall High Studios, a home to many artists studios. You may recognize Marshall from the Netflix series “The Peripheral”, which features much of downtown Marshall and local properties.
