About this property

Modern A-Frame Away from it All!

Your cabin retreat is just far away from the city to be quiet, and close enough to access everything the Asheville area has to offer. Two full bedrooms and two full bathrooms and a lofted nook/area for TV watching and possibly kids. We are about 15 minutes from the quaint riverside downtown of Marshall. Drive down the hill about 20-30 minutes into Asheville. Kayaking, fishing, biking and hiking all available in the area!

PLEASE READ: Our gravel driveway is steep in parts and some guests have trouble. We advise 4WD or AWD, especially in wet or winter weather. However, plenty of 2wd cars get up just fine. Being paved in June 2026

We have a full kitchen, deck with a view, a new fire pit and deck grill (small propane). Two full bathrooms, no tubs. We accept pets with a pet fee. We have a limit of 5 guests.

Please note we have a steep driveway and recommend AWD or 4WD if you may be uncomfortable on mountain roads. 2WD should get you up fine unless there is heavy snow, which is rare.
Our prices include all fees. No hidden fees.

The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Load and start the dishwasher
Strip any used beds
Remove personal items and remove leftover food and drinks
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
No trash outside please, extra can go in the can in the laundry room or by the hot water heater. Turn off uptairs heat/cooling with the remotes.
Please load and run the dishwasher, ensure bottom floor windows are locked, front shades pulled in summer.
Put deck cushions back in the deck box, cover the grill, if used.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
No outdoor loud parties after 10 please.
Please no food waste or garbage left out overnight. Clean and cover the grill so as to not attract bears or vermin.
Smoking and vaping kept on the deck. No smoking or vaping indoors.
