We enjoyed so much our visit to Charlottesville, visiting our grandkids and family for almost 2 weeks, while staying in our VRBO charming and cozy cottage, which is located in one of best and easiest of all places to access any part of Charlottesville!!
Gwen's place is super cute and comfortable. The street was very quiet with easy access to everything in and around Charlottesville. The screened in porch was a nice spot to relax when the weather warmed up!
The house was so cozy and quaint! So many artsy touches that you can tell the owner takes personal pride in! Lovely screened in back porch, comfortable beds, quiet street, and walking distance to football stadium. Would stay here again!

We were in town for the college world series tournament. The property is perfectly located near the university for easy access to events. The cottage is comfortable, clean, and love how the decirating maintains the era the cottafe was built.

Cottage-like atmosphere in this well-appointed 2BR house, was perfect for our family’s weekend stay. Kitchen has everything you need, modern bathroom artfully appointed, large flat screen tv in living room. Host was wonderful and replied to questions immediately. We’d love to stay here again.
What a lovely cottage !! So very comfy and lots of amenities. The decor is so eclectic it was like being in a art museum. Host was wonderful and easy to contact for suggestions. I would highly recommend this property
Loved this little house. Very convenient to UVA and highway to JMU or Monticello. There is just enough of everything that you’d need to be comfortable. The kitchen is small and not the best for cooking a huge meal, but just well outfitted for a quick breakfast, snack prep or small east meal.
Very cute 2 bedroom house nicely appointed and skillfully decorated to feel like a warm and welcoming home. Conveniently close to the University and the downtown Mall. A second story screened porch off of the kitchen is a great amenity.
Spent weekend in Charlottesville to meet up with friends and go to UVa football game. Property was very convenient as it was less than a half mile from Scott Stadium. Beds and bathroom were comfortable and clean. Did not really use the kitchen but everything looked nice. Having coffee and a bottle of wine plus snacks was a nice touch!
We were in Charlottesville for my daughter’s birthday. Your cottage was perfect for my husband and other daughter’s stay. It is close to everything we were doing and cozy on the night we arrived. When we had a small issue, the host responded immediately and solved out problem. Thank you!
I loved my time in this beautiful home. It clearly is occupied and loved by its owner...the opposite of a sterile hotel room! The creative original art that graces every wall was a pure delight. The home was spotlessly clean and extremely comfortable. I was there by myself, but we had planned on 3, and I think we would have had plenty of space. The back yard is lovely and the back screened porch was a delightful place to sit.
I would look forward to staying here again!
This house was so cozy and inviting for my son and me when we were in Charlottesville to celebrate the life of my other deceased son. I knew the minute I walked in the door that this house was not just a house, but a home. It was so comforting. We were really glad we had not stayed in a hotel because all the little things we needed were there for us: a well equipped kitchen, plenty of space to sit and relax without that impersonal feeling one gets in a hotel box. The surrounding neighborhood was quiet, so we were able to really sleep well on comfortable beds. I left feeling how I would love to return during happier circumstances.
I was able to see the inside of the house but not able to stay as the friends I came to visit needed the house (their house was temporarily uninhabitable. The owner was very understanding.
