The 4 star ratings I left may have something to do with misunderstanding or misinterpretation of our expectations. Otherwise, it was a great place to stay and we will definitely seek this cabin out again next time we travel to Estes Park. The only downside that was a bit of a challenge is understanding parking and navigating the area to park, but it was a minimal inconvenience. Will definitely stay there again.
Nice place, as advertised. Saw tons of wildlife right from the porch. Only negative is that it's located on the opposite side of town from the he property management where you get the key. Hope you enjoy.

The view, the silence, the peace.
We mostly enjoyed the deck. What view and what peace and silence.
The inside of the cabin was charming and historic with plenty of books outlining the history of Estes and Rocky Mountain National park.
The furniture was… quit… uncomfortable. Beds and all. That was unfortunate. But we loved the gift of the cabin anyway.
Check-in was easy, just stopped by the management office on the way into town to pick up the keys. The home was just as described, and we enjoyed seeing the family photos. No AC, but there were two fans. We stayed in July and I was comfortable but my husband was warm. Beautiful view from the spacious porch! Management company was friendly and quickly responded to my request for more dish towels and some hot pads. Unfortunately, only two dresser drawers were empty and those were in one bedroom. I took linens out of drawers so I could unpack my suitcase for the week. We enjoyed our stay in the home!
It was very clean. We enjoyed her stay there. Nice view of the mountains off the deck. Only complaint we had would been the refrigerator door would not seal shut. Other than that we had a great time there.
Very clean, nice views, easy check-in and check-out process. The heat situation is a little odd; you have to use portable heaters or heaters mounted to the wall to warm the place up. But they work great and get the job done!! Great bang for your buck and very close to the national park and downtown estes
