The Lighthouse is one of Gulf Shores' newest and the most popular rental complexes. Offering breath-taking views of the Gulf, beautiful white sand beach, larger and more deluxe units than the norm and a top amenity package. The unit is beautifully and professionally decorated with all the comforts of home, including DVD/large (70” in living room) High Definition, Flat Screen TV's in every room, jacuzzi bath tub, granite counter tops, a full two bedrooms /two baths and an additional bunkroom (includes tv/dvd and a door on the room) which is great for the kids. Lighthouse offers a great location, within walking distance to numerous restaurants and activities.

Lighthouse offers two beautiful outdoor pools (one with zero entry and water spouts, indoor pool, 2 hot tubs, sauna, barbeque grills, fitness room, covered entrance/lobby, covered parking, and much more! Four Owner beach chairs are located in hallway closet that can be used by guests. Just rinse off prior to returning them to the unit/closet.

The condo was clean, comfortable, and in the perfect location. It was an easy walk to restaurants, and there was even a small market nearby, which was very convenient. We especially loved relaxing on the balcony, listening to the ocean, and enjoying the beautiful views.I removed one star because the condo was missing some basic supplies. There were no extra garbage bags or toilet paper, and while there were extra pillows in the closet, there were no additional pillowcases or blankets. Also, be sure to bring your own beach towels, as none are provided.Overall, we had a great stay and would definitely recommend this condo to others.

There was black mold in the twin bunkbeds room in the window. Overall great stay and view was amazing we got to see dolphins swimming from our room .

Thank you for your response. Had cleaners go in and there is no black mold in bunk room. I was surprised you left this review considering you tried to back out of the rental because you saw 19 days in advance that rain was projected for one day. Then claimed you had a rain cancellation period. Then when came and had beautiful weather and left items in the unit has me make arrangements to return the forgotten items. I would warn other owners to be aware!

Noise in this unit, it was not the ac unit. Not sure what it was a low growling noise that came on about every minute and lasted like 10 seconds our whole 9 night stay, not sure if it was elevator noise or what but we have stayed at the lighthouse for yrs and never ever encountered such before so maybe the eight floor issuse or issue with this one unit on the 8th floor.

Amazing place! Our family had an amazing time. Condo was super clean, perfect for families with littles. Pack n play and high chair was there to use. We had no issues with the unit at all, the only thing I’d recommend is to bring your own dish soap and extra trash bags, that wasn’t provided! All in all we would definitely stay again and would recommend it for others!

I started coming to Gulf Shores back in the early 1980's as a high school student with my family. I later introduced my wife, Dawn, to the area and she fell in love with it as well. We have two beautiful daughters, Isabella and Gabrielle. Since that time we have owned a number of condominiums in the area over the years. We currently reside locally in Craft Farms Golf community.

Why they chose this property

The Lighthouse offers several unique features that we love. It is two bedrooms plus a bunk room which enables us enough room and sleeping that we can even share time with our friends. It is a newer complex that offers a tremendous amenities package and is also walking distance to numerous restaurants and shops. With it being walking distance to the public beach, it is awesome being able to park and walk to the many festivals and events at the Hangout and "T".
