Hideaway because you walk around the back side of the house to access the apartment. Come enjoy a peaceful and cozy, fully furnished, one bedroom UPPER apartment. Please if you have mobility issues this is not the place for you. There are 15 stairs that are common with a house that was built in 1896. 1.5 miles from I-90 & 490 Leroy NY. Located between Rochester (20 minutes) and Buffalo (40 minutes). Free parking.
The space
Country setting, with a private yard leading to the back door. High speed internet and cable are included. There is a Futon in the living room that converts to a full size bed. Sheets are in the footstool. This is a historic home built in 1896. Fort Hill is the site of a prehistoric Native American village. Ideal location for the finger lakes to Niagara Falls and everything in between.
Guest access
You will have full access to the apartment and use of the backyard.
Other things to note
Please respect the property and keep everything as you found it. No smoking and No pets. There are baseboard heaters. Turn the knob clockwise halfway to turn on. Please ask any questions you may have. Enjoy your stay.

Neat and Clean but Beware of the Stairs.

The property was very neat and clean. It had most of the things I needed. The stairs leading to the property were very steep. My husband had a difficult time with the stairs.

The steps in the old houses are steep. I thought I had pictures of the stairs. I will definitely change the description on the site and make sure the pictures are there. It could be on the Airbnb site and not VRBO. I will check. Thank you for your feedback. Hope you had a safe trip home.

Quick trip

We were in town to see family and this was the perfect spot for our family that lives in Leroy and Batavia. The only comment I have to share is that the shower is small and I only say so because then you won’t be surprised. It works fine just small is all. All else was very nice and enjoyable.
