Wonderful Stay!

We had a fantastic stay at the Bear Cub! The house was so clean and cozy! The host was so helpful and responsive to any questions. We loved the decor and the layout of the cabin. The hot tub was a great feature and nice to relax in at the end of the day. We would definitely love to return in the future!

Nice getaway!

Perfect little house in the woods. Nice location, we were able to travel to Traverse one day and Petoskey the next with a lovely home base to come back to. Thank you for the perfect birthday!

Tranquil slice of heaven

We loved our stay at The Bear Cub for our anniversary getaway. It was peaceful and quiet and allowed us to focus on our marriage. We loved sitting by the fire pit, enjoying the hot tub, gazing at the stars, and kayaking on Pencil Lake was a treat as well. Stephanie was amazing and responsive to every inquiry asked. Absolutely Wonderful

My husband and I stayed in this lovely home for our anniversary weekend. We have used VRBO on many occasions. This home by far has been the best out of all of them. From the absolute cleanliness to the hospitality it was superb! The lot is secluded for privacy that makes you feel as if you are in your own little world. The home is beautiful from the furnishings to the decor, chefs kiss! Everything you need is provided. I cannot rave enough about this property. Having a separate small cabin for the hot tub is genius. This property makes you feel like you are staying in a luxury hotel in the middle of the woods. Stay here! I promise you won’t be disappointed!
