Relax unwind and get in a vacation state of mind in this beautiful home away from home!
You will not be sorry if you chose this beautiful newly built-in 2021 Chalet/ Cabin to build your family memories! We call our Chalet the WFH (work from home) You can work and play while staying here. Excellent internet!
Located just outside of Schuss Village on Obdervalen road minutes from the base of the mountain or Schuss golf course. You will be surrounded by breathtaking Norway pines.
Sleeps 8 comfortably

The first floor has 2 bedrooms and a full bathroom

Bedroom # 2 has 2 full beds
Upstairs Gorgeous Primary Suite (queen bed)with EnSuite Overlooking the beautiful Norway Pine forest.
The owner has not missed a detail. The Chalet is furnished with quality linens, plush towels, a fullly stocked kitchen, soaps, shampoo, and paper products.
This location is frequently used as a hub in the summer months to make day trips to Traverse City, Petoskey, Torch Lake, and Harbor Springs. All of which are only a 20 - to 40-minute drive.
Come back to this beautiful location after a day of sight, seeing in beautiful Northern Michigan.
Unwind in a modern kitchen with brand new stainless steel appliances loaded with dishes, pots and pans, and every gadget you can think of.
For fall or winter travelers:
Our floors are heated! No stepping out to cold floors on your feet.
GAS fireplace to warm up after a day on the slopes
2-minute drive to the base of the mountain.

Bring your boat. Our drive way is large and a pull through which makes it perfect to bring a boat or trailer with your toys.

This house was the perfect location for our weekend up north—close to Traverse City and Charlevoix as well as a day trip to the Tahquamenon Falls! The house was extremely clean and set up well to accommodate our family. I will definitely recommend this property to others.

Summer Stay

Beautiful cabin, everything was exactly how it was described. We went in the summer but this would be a perfect place in the winter with the ski lodge so close. We were able to use the resorts pools and it was an easy drive Traverse City and Sleeping Bear Dunes.

The cabin was well-stocked and extremely clean. The property it was on was beautiful, surrounded by the tallest of pines. The property manager called on the day of check in to inform me that the upstairs air conditioning had gone out and that it was to be fixed during our stay. Unfortunately, it was not, but she responded appropriately and quickly with getting us a reparation for it. We loved our stay so much that we are now looking for property in the area!

Perfect cabin for multifamily vacation!

We absolutely loved staying at the WFH Chalet! Everything was clean, well thought out, and stocked. We skied two days while there and enjoyed being so close to Schuss Mountain. The heated floors were a bonus, especially for our crawling infant niece. The fire pit was a hit as well for evening s’mores. Overall incredible place and plan to stay here again!

Shanty Creek Cabin

We had a wonderful stay at this property! We had extended family in the area for my son's wedding The outdoor space was perfect for getting together around the bonfire. The lighting out there is a great feature. Beautiful,comfortable cabin, pretty well stocked with anything you might need. We would definitely stay here again! The door code process was a bit sticky-also locking it. The owner may want to look into a different entry/exit process

Fabulous and cozy home

This home is the perfect spot for a lovely family getaway. It has everything you need. The kitchen is large and filled with every type of dishes that you need and some. Two coffee makers which I loved! A drip and a Keurig. The bathrooms had shampoo/conditioner and body wash! Beds were very comfortable and my daughter loved the large full sized bunk beds. I wish we had time to enjoy the lovely fire pit outside. Great location and so easy to find. Five star stay

Uncomfortable Hot Family Vacation

The property was clean however the house was extremely hot. The two bedrooms downstairs had no air. They had ceiling fans but when it is 85 degrees outside that is not enough. The bedroom upstairs did have air so it was comfortable to sleep in. The first night we discovered a leak coming from the ceiling. We notified property manager and we were told it was condensation. The drip was constant for several hours of the day. It dripped on a concrete floor which was slippery so with kids we had to be careful. Overall I would say 3 out of 5 stars due to the lack of air and dripping.

I am very surprised at a 3 star review from this guest. This is a 2 year old home and the air conditioning was just put in a couple months ago. As soon as he arrived, he reached out and wanted the house at 65 degress. The thermostats are set between 68 and 76 degrees which for most people is comfortable. Guests are able to control the temperature. The owner, who was out of the country at the time, turned the thermostat down to 65 for him remotely. I did not hear another word from him until this review. He did not mention the dripping. The dripping turned out to be a condensation line which has been repaired. We respond to guests immediately or in a timely manner and do what is in our power to make their stay comfortable. This house sits in a beautiful location with woods around it. It has high end finishes throughout. It is definitely a 5 star property!

CK Schuss Mountain Condo Rentals LLC has grown from one condo to now 16 condos in Schuss Village near Bellaire Michigan. Our area has something to do year around. Winter, skiing both downhill and cross country, dog sledding, tubing. Summer has endless fun things to do. Golf, boating, biking, hiking, shopping, wine tasting, canoeing and kayaking. A major attraction is Shorts Brewery in Bellaire. The quaint town of Bellaire is 6miles away. 15 minutes away you can spend the day on Torch Lake and stop at the Dockside restaurant for dinner.

This property was built for families in mind. We call this the WFH "Work from home " Chalet. We have great wifi so you can enjoy a vacation while working at the same time.
