Relax and enjoy our spacious "home away from home". Our home is a smoke and vape free environment. Enjoy a short walk to our private association pool or stroll to the marina which has access to the intercoastal waterway. A delightful dockside pub is nearby, for a relaxing après beach cocktail or delicious breakfast, lunch, or dinner. The private beach on Oak Island is a 15-minute car ride. Southport is a quaint seaside town complete with shops, artisan galleries, and restaurants to please every palate.

This second floor condo was clean, spacious, inviting and well appointed. It is located close to the pool and St.James Marina. The only thing missing in the listing was what type of coffee maker is in the unit, which is a drip type. The host was gracious and attentive which made our stay even more pleasant. (Thank you!)We would definitely recommend this listing!

Summer family reunion.

This spacious condo is in a great location with a lovely pool steps away and a Marina a short walk away with a restaurant and Tiki Bar.The furnishings and views are comfortable and relaxing here.The host responded to questions and was helpful during our vacation.

This is fantastic place to stay whilst on holiday/vacation. Clean, spacious, well equipped, comfortable bedrooms, we totally loved this accommodation. The pool which is very close by was fantastic, plenty of sunbeds and shading. We had pool to ourselves on many occasions. The beach clubhouse very convenient for the beach, and restrooms are well kept. Gary the property owner was very helpful and made sure everything went well for us. St James Plantation, very quiet so great if that's the holiday you are looking for. The marina is great to sit by with nice walkways near by.

Great space

The condo is fantastic! The bedrooms are private yet you have a large open space for the kitchen and family room. There is a pool that you have access too which is in a fantastic spot with gazebo and walking deck to look for alligators. Great for families!!!

Great condo for a family week at the beach

Condo was absolutely perfect for our family of 4 with 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms so everyone had their own. Very spacious for times of rain and has a pool less than 100 yards away. Gary was extremely communicative and responded quickly to any questions and made sure we had all the information we needed. Definitely going to look to book this for next year!

Excellent Condo at St James Plantation

Beautiful Condo & surrounding areas. Walking distance to the pool was so convenient. Excellent Host. He kept us updated on when we could check in, gave suggestions on what to see & good restaurants to eat at. He returned calls our calls within minutes when we had questions. I would stay here again if visiting this area in the future. Highly recommend!

Perfect!

We couldn’t have asked for a better stay! The location was great, just a short distance from what we wanted to see and do. The pool was only steps away, and we enjoyed Beacons restaurant on the water. (The food was delicious!) It was a quiet area with friendly neighbors. One of them even left a sweet note on our car for us to discover on departing day. The property was spacious, very clean, and well-stocked with pretty much everything we needed — coffee, kitchenware, appliances (including a toaster, toaster oven, blender, coffee maker, microwave, etc.) Three full baths were so beneficial with 3 young adult daughters. We were also surprised to find a closet that contained beach chairs, an umbrella, boogie board, and enough towels for all of us! Gary checked in with us to make sure things were going well and was responsive to inquiries. It was our favorite vacation rental to date. We definitely recommend!

We live in New England most of the year, but we enjoy our home in Southport North Carolina to be able to "jumpstart" our summer and stretch out the fall. Our outdoor sports which include biking, beach combing, tennis, golf, and pickleball are all available here in Southport.

Why they chose this property

St James is a sprawling, safe neighborhood with more than 60 miles of easy biking roads, all safe as the speed limit inside our community never exceeds 30 mph. Folks driving in their cars are respectful of bikers, walkers, and joggers of all ages and abilities. The downtown coastal community of Southport is a mecca for interesting restaurants, art galleries, garden shops, and clothing shops. Southport hosts a variety of festivals, boat shows, parades all during the year for all to enjoy for free. The local town of Oak Island hosts free music festivals each Friday night during the Summer and Fall.

What makes this property unique

One of the reasons for choosing our condominium was because of its own private pool and grill area. The condominium is very spacious, with large floor to ceiling windows in the living room. Each bedroom has its own private full bath, and access to a deck area. Our condominium is a three-minute walk to "The Beacon 315" which is a waterfront restaurant (breakfast, lunch, dinner).
