Great house, even better location. Great spot in La Jolla, nice walk to anything you need. Only a few blocks down to the beach. House was exactly like the photos, clean & comfortable. Our family loved our stay and will definitely be returning. Host was helpful and responsive, made for a wonderful vacation.

Perfect location. Wonderful little home that is perfect for a small family or a few couples. Very clean, comfortable beds. I walked to the beach each morning. Definitely will be coming back to this home.

Perfect stay for my small family

My husband, son, and I absolutely loved our time at the La Jolla Coastal Haven! The combination of indoor and outdoor spaces was fantastic. Everything was spotless. Also appreciated how high quality all the furnishings, beds, and bedding was. Excellent location. We would definitely stay here again.

We loved the location of the property. The house was great for our family vacation. Easy walk to the beach. The beds were super comfortable. We loved picking up food from the nearby Valley Farm Market. We would love to stay here again. The house was very well equipped and the property management company was super responsive and helpful.

Great location with walking path behind house. Nice house in quiet neighborhood close to La Jolla Village and the beach. Enjoyed our month long stay and would consider returning next year. The outdoor spaces were exceptional with beautiful landscaping.

This home was in a perfect location for us to explore La Jolla and San Diego. We were walking distance to Windansea beach which my boys (ages 11 and 9) insisted we explore every morning. It’s not a beach for swimming but my boys enjoyed climbing the rocks and watching the waves. This is a quieter side of La Jolla and felt like a really safe neighborhood, yet was still a very short drive to restaurants and shopping in downtown La Jolla. The home itself was very clean and comfortable for the three of us. Overall a great stay and we’d return again if in the San Diego area.

Windansea cottage

We loved this thoughtfully-remodeled house, and appreciated the indoor and outdoor spaces. It was clean, and beds comfortable, and had nice Creuset cookware for those who have time to cook on vacation. The neighborhood was quiet, friendly and safe, and walking distance to Windansea beach (where we mostly climbed the rocks due to winter weather and king tides).I recommend Wayfarer Bakery down the road in Bird Rock for morning pastries! We would stay again if available next time we’re in town.

Fantastic and simple inside/outside living environment in quiet neighborhood within easy walking distance from beloved Windansea beach. Bike Trail right behind house to easily access downtown LaJolla by foot or bike. Would stay over and over again!

Fantastic place to stay!

Just home from 5 nights at this beautiful home and it was everything we imagined. The place was equipped with top-notch equipment from everything to the kitchen appliances to the beds (so comfy!) and was exactly as shown in the photos. Every morning we'd take a 10min stroll with our 3-year-old through the quiet neighbourhood to the south end of Windansea Beach. The village of La Jolla was a short drive away (you could easily walk if you didn't have a slow toddler in tow), which had everything we needed, from great coffee shops to grocery stores and restaurants. We absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable place in La Jolla that feels like home.

Great Little Getaway

We stayed here for 5 nights (2 couples) and the house was the perfect size. About a 5 minute walk to the Windansea beach and 25 minute walk into town. It was situated in a quiet neighbourhood and made for a relaxing stay. Well equipped kitchen and many amenities on site, including a great outdoor BBQ kitchen set up and fire pit. I might recommend some cushions for the concrete fire pit set-up for future guests and some patio cushion covers to keep the outdoor lounging spaces dry for use as they otherwise get soaked from the rain/sprinkler system. The hosts were quick to respond with any issues/questions and the beds were comfortable. Would stay again on my next visit to La Jolla!

Amazing Stay

This house is top 5 rental of all time for me and my family. The hosts were super communicative and prompt in their responses and the house was everything advertised (and then some). The living room is spacious and cozy for a family movie night, the kitchen is small but adequately stocked, clean, useful and was more than enough for the three of us. The house is a few blocks from the ocean which is a lovely walk in the am. Most loved by the family was the ample outdoor space. The outdoor kitchen is great for griling, the fire pit and deck furniture (front and back) makes for an inviting and relaxing experience. We loved that three of the four walls have double doors which open to the outside. z Overall wouldn't change anything. Great place!

Wonderful Short Stay in La Jolla

Our family of five had a wonderful two night stay (we only wish it was longer)! The home was super clean, well stocked, and the outdoor living (especially the fire pit) was spectacular! As a Mom of three having laundry was such a perk and allowed us to clean clothes midway through our trip. We're past the baby age but the house was thoughtfully equipped with lots of kids items for our use if needed. If I had one request it would be for a secondary TV in one of the bedrooms in case you have a group with kids and adults both wanting to watch TV at the same time. In our case we enjoyed peace and quiet outside while the kids enjoyed a movie so not an issue. We would without hesitation stay in this charming rental again!!
