Keywords: Beautiful home in quiet neighborhood. Less than two miles to Homewood Ski Resort, Obexer's General Store & Deli with yummy custom-crafted sandwiches, coffee drinks and more. Only 5 miles north to shopping in Tahoe City and minutes south to Meeks Bay & Emerald Bay.
Start your morning early at nearby Obexer’s General Store and Deli for gourmet coffee and breakfast sandwiches and wraps.
Want to spend your day out on the water? Take water ski/wakeboard lessons, rent jet skis, charter a boat or launch your boat at Obexer’s Boat Company; or rent paddleboards, kayaks and canoes at West Shore Sports - both in Homewood.
Beach picks: D.L. Bliss State Park, Meeks Bay and Sugar Pine Point.
To experience Tahoe’s history, start near Fanny Bridge at the Gatekeeper’s Museum, where you can learn about Tahoe’s early residents and see examples of the Washoe Tribe’s basket weaving. Take a tour of Tahoe’s first lakefronts, built in the early 20th century by Tahoe’s eccentric pioneers – Ehrman Mansion at Sugar Pine Point State Park and Vikingsholm in Emerald Bay, one of Tahoe’s iconic and most picturesque landmarks. Boat or kayak out to Fannette Island and explore the remains of the teahouse, or hike along Lake Tahoe’s highest cliffs at D.L. Bliss State Park as you gaze down at the crystal-clear blue waters.
Exterior Security Cameras:
For security purposes and to monitor animal activity, the property is equipped with exterior security cameras. The front camera is mounted to the left of the front door and covers the front door, driveway, and front yard, providing visibility of entryways and any activity in the front area of the property. The rear camera is positioned near the rear (patio) door and monitors the rear door and backyard, ensuring surveillance of the back entry and outdoor space. These cameras are in place to enhance the safety and security of the property.

About the host
Your host
We purchased this house in 1998 after getting married earlier that year. We lived in this home for 12 years, raised our children and created some of our most special memories. Our family has deep roots in Tahoe. We are 4th and 5th generations that have resided in the Tahoma and Homewood areas of the West Shore. We love the West Shore and could not imagine living anywhere else.
Why they chose this property
The Timber Wolf House is located on a quiet street in a wonderful neighborhood.
What makes this property unique
Because this was our personal home for 12 years, we added a lot of personal home features which make it more than just a bare vacation rental. The home is also located in a quiet neighborhood and street where you do not have to worry about traffic noise. It is a walk to Chamber's Landing Beach & Bar and 2 miles from Homewood Ski Resort.
Premier Host
They consistently provide great experiences for their guests
