This apartment was a great space to stay in, I would recommend it. The town is perfect for walking and there are plenty of places to eat/drink/entertain. And it's also quiet at night. One negative thing to comment on is the parking situation is less than ideal. There is public parking nearby, but the alley afforded to renters is tight and other people are not very courteous. I won't knock a star off my rating as this is no fault of the owners.
The accommodations were perfect for our needs. The apartment was street side, so it was a little noisy at times, but this didn't really seem to bother us too much. The location is perfect if you want to adventure on foot--we walked pretty much everywhere we wanted to go with the exception of traveling up and down the finger. We would definitely stay here again!
The apartment was clean and well stocked. However, check in was stressful due to the host improperly saying she did not have our reservation, we booked in April, had a confirmation number. A few minutes later, she called back stating she had located our reservation. Although Sturgeon Bay is a safe community, there was no deadbolt on our apartment door. Even though we didn’t need the space, one closet had a lot of “junk” on the floor. Just not good! Having said that, the unit was VERY clean and everything was in good working order.

Needs updates
The location was ok but there is not much to do in Sturgeon Bay. The bathroom needs major updating. The shower stall is very small and the caulking is moldy. The tv doesn’t allow you to watch local tv. If you don’t have a Netflix subscription, you can’t watch tv. Also, there is only 1 entrance/exit to the apartment. It’s a bit worrisome in case of a fire. The 20 stairs up the dark stairwell is a bit rough if you have heavy bags/groceries.
The location was a little noisy at night. Seemed like some kids were making a loud noise in the neighborhood at night.
The apartment is spacious and clean. The hosts were great. The washrooms were a little tight and the airconditioning on one of the nights did not seem to kick-in quickly. Fans in the bedroom would be a great addition.
We had a good time overall. Thanks much
The 20 steps up to the room was difficult for us. That hallway had a very dirty carpet and it smelled. Once we got into the apt, it was ok. The bathroom is very small but clean. The kitchen was nice and big with basic amenities. No dishwasher. Big kitchen table. Big dining room with table. Nicely furnished tv room with a good Tv. The bedroom had only one nightstand with lamp. We had to bring chairs from the dining room to make another end table and have places for our suitcases. But nice closet. That bed was clean with nice linens but very hard. I slept in the spare room which had no night stand or lamp. We had to get a lantern for that room and put a chair in there as an end table. So it was good that there were so many chairs. The spare bedroom had a very comfortable bed. The windows gave a nice view of downtown, but not of the lake. They only had thin sheers so privacy at night was an issue and sunrise in the morning was also bright. Maybe some nice blinds like the one in the spare bedroom. We had to ask for more towels for our 5 night stay. Bath towels did not dry in the apt. Only two hooks for bath towels in bathroom. Cool antique furniture and brick wall.
