Wonderful in Every Way!
Coastal Heaven really lives up to its name. This is truly a beachfront home as the beach is just a few steps from the house, and the view from the house was completely unobstructed.
The home itself was tastefully decorated and layout was very accommodating for all. Having four bathrooms makes everything so convenient, The bathroom on the ground level is truly a full bath with a shower, sink, and toilet and makes it so handy when you just need to take a quick bathroom break from the beach. And, everyone enjoyed the hot tub.
The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you could possibly need. Furnishings/decor were up to date and just the right beachy touches without being overdone. The beds were very comfortable. The master bedroom is very spacious and the office/sitting area came in handy as we used an air mattress for one of the children and it was not a bit cramped even with that.
We love Port St. Joe area - very family friendly/laid back atmosphere and plenty of good restaurants and other retail options to enjoy. Grocery stores are just a short drive. There were lots of people, yet the beaches did not seem crowded at all. There were a couple of days when the ocean was quite murky but most of the time, the water was relatively clear and the sand on these beaches is truly like sugar! Staff were professional, courteous, and efficient.
It would be nice to have had T.V.’s in all the bedrooms. Other than that, everything was pretty close to perfect!
