We loved our weekend at the home. It was very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed sitting outside on the big porch in the evening. Spacious kitchen with plenty of seating for meals. The best part was that we were only a couple of blocks from downtown.
We enjoyed the house for a girls birthday weekend getaway. The house looked very much like the pictures. It was very nice and cozy with plenty of room and various living spaces. It’s an older home but that just gave it character. The kitchen could use some updated pots and pans but overall, it had what we needed. All the extra towels are in the bathroom vanity downstairs. There were plenty. You do hear the train go by many times but a simple sound machine helps with that at night. We enjoyed the screened in porch…even in November. It’s really close to downtown so we enjoyed walking along the beach and shopping in town. Would recommend!
Girls weekend to chill and enjoy some boutique shopping. Great location for walking downtown for shopping and grabbing a bite to eat. Home was beautifully decorated and offered all of us a bed to sleep. We were very comfortable and wished it was a little warmer so we could have enjoyed the outside patio, which was also very cute. That’s April in Ohio though. Thanks for having us!!
Nice screen porch size. Some maintenance could help. The door lock was finicky to open and the wi-fi kept going out on tv. Nice neighborhood. Lots of trains. Nice grassy yard for dog. Served well for eclipse and telescope.
The house was well stocked with everything we needed for a girl's trip. The beds and linens were extremely comfortable. We all really enjoyed the screened-in porch for relaxing and catching up. There was enough parking, and the house is just a walk or very quick car ride from the cute little town. The bonus game room off of one of the rooms was pretty cool! We didn't spend any real time in there as adults, but could see some kids or tweens enjoying the space. The owner even checked in on us to make sure we were comfortable. Thanks for sharing your space with us!

DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY
This property was dirty. It had literal poop on the floor under the kitchen table. Every utensil and half of the bowls were covered in something sticky. The pantry is full of old food/ syrup/ ingredients. The fridge was not working during the first night of our stay & the water filter has not been changed since who knows when.
We checked in on a friday, checked out on the following sunday. i notified the host of these issues immediately after checking in on Friday and they did not reach back out until TUESDAY. & all they said was to call VRBO.
I paid over $1000 to stay here for a weekend (in off season) and was completely and totally disappointed.
The pictures posted on the website are not based in reality. Definitely not worth what we paid for our 1 day stay
House is poorly maintained in and out.
The game room is not an actual a room. It is an attic crawl space in one of the upstairs bedrooms. Took us a while to find it.
You must go through a 3 foot door to enter
Too hot and stuffy in there to spend any amount of time.
The screened in side porch requires repairs. The screens a falling apart and there was a feral cat trying to get in. We had to place a chair against the screen door to keep it out.
There were also wasps and bees in there too. Not a lot but for us one is too many
The stairs leading up to 3 of the bedrooms were pretty treacherous. So if you’re at all arthritic beware.
There is one bedroom on the main floor but it is directly off the living room.
The main bathroom is off the kitchen which we found odd and there is a small half bathroom on the second floor. There were only 2 (1/2 used) rolls of toilet paper in the house and
